I find it interesting that the only subject at their TS3 site that doesn't have a working link in it is the one regarding SecuROM, just a message telling you to read Rod Humble's letter about it, with no direction to said letter. Says enough to me right there...

Oh, was that a faux pas assuming you're the one dictating present policies on the sites? I just figured I might as well ask you because I get very few answers from any of your upper echelon no matter what questions I ask. They're too busy handling really important issues like this, because we all know that some dweeb with their CapsLock on is a real serious problem that requires multiple administrators to handle it.

 

So better to point towards the .org addy to avoid that I would think. In a related question to the adult site ~ what's the policy now for linking to it? I ran into a question here that was hotlinked to by a member directly to the thread (now nonexistant) over at ISA. These types of links were verboten before ~ has this policy changed or is that still the status quo?

I'm curious, is there some reason that we're still using two different addies for ISA? I thought the one you gave was supposed to be as a temporary one until the site was set up ~ which it is, at the http://www.insimadult.org/smf/ addy. I know they're mirroring each other but is there some logic to having them both running?

The 'find all posts by' and/or 'find all threads created by' features were not only handy for things like mentioned by The_French_Sim, they also came in handy for admin when trying to find needed links or even trying to track patterns of suspected forum abusers.

It's a numbering system created within the game's perameters. Many object creators don't bother renaming their respective creations to something more recognizable. I wouldn't just start deleting things willy-nilly for lack of names. To make it easier to scan in CI for duplicates click once on the MD5 button at the top and wait for it to load all of your CC. It'll line all of your CC up in numerical order by the coding the game uses to recognize things. Duplicates will then be stacked next to each other making it very easy for you to see just how many there are (in pink) and then you can delete them or make them innactive.

The thumbnail's generated automatically by you attaching a pic to your post, your house will be added to the next update for the front page by admin...

I've had more timeouts loading Sims over at the adult site than I care to remember, and it's relatively small compared to this one over here. The wee hours are indeed the best time to upload. Maybe a dumb question on my part but you do have it packaged with WinZip or WinRar, right? Because the sites won't let you upload a Sims2Pack...
