So, i just got new macbook. really excited because it is faster and has more memory than previous computer. However, when i attempted to load my sims 2 game (which installed no problem) a message keeps coming up saying " The Sims 2 reccomends a PowerPC processor running at 500MHz or faster". It goes on to say that my computer does not meet the recommendations and that game play will suffer. I then click the "OK" button on the pop-up and another comes up telling me to re-install the sims 2. i have tried re-installing, restarting my comp., and i have 2GHz left on my computer. I'm really stressed and would appreciate some help very very much!!!

My game has started quitting just after loading the part right before where you pick the neighborhood...i thnk it may be a download, but dont know how to locate it...any suggestions?

It would be really handy to know for when I'm filling reaquests and don't wanna go in-game to show progressions.

my graphics are not horrible, but in my photo's my sims edges alway come out pixely and blocky and I hate it.
any one have any suggestions?
I've heard of FRAPS and things like that but never anything for mac...

Sorry guys, looks like I have another little problem. I just got an external hard drive and copied all my sims files to it. However, when I open 'body shop' (where I make all of my sims), It loads all the settings as if I never used it, then when finished I have a EA Games file in my regular hard drive and no custom content shows up! Also, when I load my game, all my neighborhoods, custom and non-custom, have been deleted. My question is, Is there any way to fix this w/o re-installing for the fourth time?!
I've tried everything I can think of and nothing is working...Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

My game recentley threw up my hood so I got an external hard drive and re-installed, I put my downloads in a folder labeled 'res' but they do not show up in game this way. My question is where do I put my downloads folder??
