Finally upgraded to TS3 and I've got a couple questions.

1. How do I install worlds?

2. Can the "mods" folder be subfoldered at all?

I had these ages back and can't remember where I got them from. I'm looking for 2 pet objects-one a ball of yarn that's cloned from the catnip mouse, and the other a bone that looks like an authentic bone for dogs to chew.

I'm also looking for a bed that's shaped like a mound of straw. I could've sworn it was from MTs2 but I can't find it.

Help would be appreciated.

One of the things that drive me crazy is that my poor Victorian teens have only got 3 coats to wear in the winter, all of them from AAS. They need a bit more variety!

Not sure if someone has done these, but I'm looking for the GLS long coats that are available as formal wear (here[/url, very first thumbnail, the brown one). I would like to have it converted for teens and enabled as outwear only, plus two recolors for adults and teens-a burgundy one with black shirt, deeper burgundy trim (by trim I mean that folded over portion), pants and gloves, and a candy apple red one with cream shirt and gloves, black, Maxis match trim and black, Maxis match pants. Similar to the navy blue coat that's there already, just the coat recolored and in cream.

I'm looking for recolors of this from Aikea (her "Traveling Son" mesh-got puffy sleeves, a vest and bootcut bottoms). I saw recolors of it on GoS a while back but my Google-fu is failing me today. I'm looking for those recolors and other recolors people have come up with.

Belvedere, my Victorian neighborhood has been having problems lately that are making me go "Hmm..." I've got everything up to BV, all EPs and junk packs up to that time (not nothing after, yeah, I know). I've had these since the neighborhood was new but now, as the neighborhood gets larger they're becoming more of a problem. I want to avoid my computer from becoming a BFBVFS.

I'm currently using default replacement vehicle hacks and default replacement roads to give my neighborhood more of an authentic feel, perhaps this might be part of the problem, I don't know. I'm also using a custom neighborhood, Crater Town from Sims Zone or something, I'd have to double check. It's only this neighborhood that has problems, not one else, custom or otherwise.

List of problems:

1. Headmasters don't show up at all, period. I call one, 5pm rolls around, no show. I've tried deleting the stuck headmaster token using the FFS Lot Debugger, no dice. Tried teleporting a headmaster into a lot to generate a new one, the replacement one has the same problems. Headmaster is an Elder but his timer shows up as "Adult, 15 days from Elder". Headmaster can age down but I haven't tried killing him yet. The headmaster I teleported into a lot has a family going and it'd be a bit cruel to murder him.

2. Similarly, wedding parties at home are borked. I have a default replacement carriage that replaces the limo with a horsedrawn carriage, but even with it out no dice. Groom gets in, bride can't and wanders away. After an hour or so Groom pops up somewhere on the lot and sometimes the timer for the wedding restarts and will repeat the same cycle for hours. Moving them out and in fixes it.

3. Vacations are borked. The sims hop into a carriage, carriage drives off the lot and back into the lot, over and over. This happens in both main and college hoods. Taxis for everything else (dates, going to community lots) work as normal; at least in college. I've not tested the main neighborhood. Will update it when I have, tomorrow.

4. For specific sims-clicking on them to get them to "wake up" when they pass out makes them jump. Perhaps a hack conflict? Will post an error log tomorrow.

List of hacks available on request. (Heh, there's about 150)

I'm wondering if this is fixable. If it isn't, please don't tell me I have to somehow rebuild my entire neighborhood, I think I'm going to scream if I do. It's multi generational, lots of people having met and married and babies and so on.

Just a weird problem I've been having today. I have just done a complete uninstall and reinstall of all of my games (I have all EPs and stuff packs up to TSS, including Holiday Stuff) everything is patched, accesory.cache, and the other.cache were deleted and reloaded by the game, empty templates installed, hacks don't need to be updated because I have everything updated a couple weeks ago, everything is fine. I added in my simself and her/my family screen you get when you load them into a lot came out blank. In a lot it's completely normal, thumbnail shows up as usual. I downloaded some sims from GoS, from here and from MTS2, installed them with the clean installer and put them into my neighborhood. The first 4 sims' family pictures came out fine but afterwards, they all turned out blank. Even creating sims in University, their family pictures come out blank.

As I said, I deleted accessory.cache and the other .cache file (groups.cache?) and let the game reload them as normal. I also deleted cigen.package, which strangely hasn't loaded. I also deleted CASthumbnails.package and CANHobjectthumbnails.package.

So, what could be wrong?

Edit: I ran bodyshop again and got cigen.package loaded. I get the feeling this is caused by a corrupted hair of some sort, because as I was creating a new male sim last night and looking in under the stubble, the normal Maxis stubble was replaced by a picture of some long hair instead.

The Powergirl is one of my favorite meshes (weirdly enough), but I've noticed that she has a lack of things to wear (or else whatever's available is based on the nude mesh and looks painted on). The lack of things to wear I can deal with, but she doesn't have much to wear in the formal department that would be suitable for a wedding or more formal occasion. It's all either cocktail dresses or else recolors of the dress that Andrea Hogan wears.

What I'm asking for is 2 meshes-one mermaid style (with or without train I don't care) and one ballgown style (again, with or without train). Preferably at least one white recolor of each, along with one regular recolor (blue or green preferred though I'll take whatever you can create). I have a couple weddings coming up in my game and my poor Powergirls have nothing to get married in.

I have a hotel in my main neighborhood. I'm trying to have my sims go there for their wedding night. They check in, it's great, but as soon as they do, they get a popup saying, "We hope your vacation stay has been pleasant, shuttle has been dispatched." And 30 seconds later, the shuttle arrives and takes them home, even after checking in and even if they walk, take a car or take a taxi. Why would this be happening in my hotel in my main neighborhood? And is there a hack that would somehow stop this from happening?

On Wednesday afternoon, I was placing several hot males that I downloaded from here in my neighborhood and quit the game. It went off completely normally, no problems whatever. When I tried to go back into it later, the game refused to work. I tried it through the launcher, I heard the drive kick up, but nothing. I tried it through Simpe, nothing. I restarted my computer twice and restarted with both Simpe and the launcher, nothing. I did a complete reinstall, still nothing.

Three things I did notice while I was reinstalling the game:

1. My computer crashed once while installing NL, which I then deleted and did a full reinstall from the beginning, and

2. My drive was making this godawful, LOUD grinding noise when I had more than 8 tabs open. I shut them and the noise stopped for a few seconds and then started again, and

3. I got an error message when ejecting my registered copy of the full BV CD and it said, "Please make sure this is the full CD and not a backup" or some such.

The kicker to everything is that the game refuses to show up under the running processes seen by ctrl alt delete. So, something is screwed somewhere, but what is and how can I fix it?

So I created a Royal Kingdom challenge for myself and did some general cleaning up of neighborhoods (as in not deleting them, merely taking them out of the Neighborhoods folder while the game was off and stuffing them in a new folder). Since I took out a good deal of CC and added in a lot of medieval CC, kept all of my hacks in there, too and didn't delete the objects.package, CASthumbnails.package and cigen.package, I thought it would be ok.

Mmm, apparently not. None of my sims can get jobs now. All of the male adults when trying to get a job have a window that pops up and says 'Don't you have homework to do? You need to get your grades up before you can get a job". What the heck happened? Is it a conflict with insim or with inteen? Or another one of my hacks?

All EPs up to BV (legal BV despite all the screaming about SuckuROM), all crap packs up to Celebrations, all hacks updated before I dared to start BV for the first time.

Welp. I figured I may as well jump onto the bandwagon and upload my simself. I originally had it posted on the Exchange (many moons ago) but it was deleted and I also deleted the set of eyes I was using before (noesssssss!). However, this is version 3.0 of my simself and I'm very pleased because it's mostly accurate. I have a few freckles and beauty marks but I didn't feel like making them, so no marks.



Pretty, right? Don't breed me. I throw the ugliest children-they all look like apes.

I am a Family Cancer turned on by red and black hair (or if you have BV, the "advanced career" turn on, dunno what it's called since I don't have BV yet) and turned off by cologne or stink. If you have computers in your house I will go to it and not leave it the hell alone. Preferred careers are Journalism or Culinary.

While her mother is dying of cancer, Zoe (whose last name isn't Parkhurst in the book, I forgot her last name...) thinks of death and dying herself. Then she meets Simon, a vampire bent on revenge on his younger brother.

Vampires aside, I'm proud of her because I think she's very pretty. She's a Family Sagittarius with turn ons of...I forget, I think it was custom hair and vampires, and turn off of stink. I think.

Erm, this would be my first upload anywhere, so if I haven't done anything right, feel free to correct me.

Anywho, this hunk is roughly based off of the vampire Simon in the book The Silver Kiss. Simon (whose last name isn't De Loro in the book, I've forgotten his last name, oops) is tracking his younger brother who is also a vampire, for revenge (on what, I've forgotten, I don't have the book on hand anymore so I can't check). He happens to fall in love with a girl named Zoe and turns her into a vampire as well. Together, the two of them track down Simon's brother and seek revenge upon him.

In my game he is a Romance Aquarius with a turn on of black custom hair and turn off of either Stink or Fatness.
