dxdiag says everything is fine, It could be possible that it is bad ram, But the squares only show on the sims 2. The other games I play are fine and they are more demanding then the sims, like neverwinter nights 2, Gta: San Andreas. I have check the wires 3 times and there tight as they can get.
Last week I upgraded my video card from a geforce fx 5500 to a geforce 7600 gs and since then these squares appear. I have updated to the latest for directx, and video driver and still doesnt help. If you need my system spec I can give them too.
I am sure most know about this by now, That if you play ssx 3 on the cheap computer(maybe the other one, Havent tryed it) that after your sim gets off the computer that ssx 3 stays in a contineous loop even if you shut down the computer.
I dont know if anybody else noticed this yet but pregent vampires will run for the toliet in daylight, They will also do it if there in there casket Its more of a nucents then it is anything.
I dont plan on using it for the sims 2, I was looking for a good program for modeling for anther game. with python you can do alot of things if you have the plug in. But thanks for the warning.
I just discovered this today, but it seems like a good 3d image creator(maybe mesh just started playing with it) and animation creator. its free becuase its under the gnu.
