quick question...is my elder supposed to have the option to nurse her adult child. Obviously, she can't, but is the option still supposed to be there, AND...is it possible to make it so the mother of a toddler doesn't constantly go to nurse the toddler, unless you have enabled this option for toddlers, and I somehow missed it. I can't get the mother to do anything, as I'm constantly cancelling out going to nurse the toddler, she'll pee on the floor before she stops feeding the toddler, which is different from her behavior with an infant. She will care for the infant, but also take care of her own needs, but as soon as the baby transitions to toddler, the obsession to breastfeed the kid takes over everything.

So odd that people get offended by this. Real or Sim.
It is working great in a my game, I have all the EPs, thank you so much! I totally agree...I really think people have forgotten that nursing is what they were made for. (I do tend to say nursing, rather than "breastfeed" as people tend to have issue with the word breast) All these offended people would have hated me...I fed my kid where and when they were hungry...mall, resteraunt, church...wherever. There are so many other things to be offended at, it seems silly to be offended or grossed out by nursing...you don't want to see it, don't look (and in game, don't download, and make sure the house has a frige |

Ha! My son was cut off when he was 9 months. His new favorite game was to wait until I was distracted and not making eye contact with him (ie, not paying attention to him) and them arch his back and see how far he could stretch my nipple. He loved the reaction and had a ferocious 'latch' (suction on the nipple). I decided any kid who thought that was funny and was able to drink from a cup by himself was DONE. Besides, he was 10 pounds when he was BORN, it isn't like it was going to hurt him.  I don't care how you feed your kid, as long as you feed them. Personally, I was too lazy and cheap to do formula. I saved over $3000 by breastfeeding. Heck...it's convienient too, always there, always sterile, always the right temperature. My oldest stopped herself at 18 months-she just lost interest, and the little one decided just before she was 2 that she was done. But, like I was saying...to each their own. |

This is GREAT as I have wanted this option for ages, but can you possibly enable it so toddlers can also be breastfed? I fed my children well into toddlerhood (3 1/2 being the longest) and I would like to see that available. That way the Sims can decide when they want to stop, just like we can in real life. I agree, both my children decided to stop before they were 2, but I would like to see the option enabled for toddlers as well. Props for extracting this option. |
