1  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misc. Mods and Careers / Fights for points<UPDATED to v1.1>+Alternative Version on: June 03, 2007, 11:05:29 am
If you have Celebrations! Stuff, of course replace the copy in CelebrationStuff\TSData\Res\Wants since it trumps Seasons.

Just FYI: I am testing an Inteenimated version of this one now. Testers are welcomed here.

3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Pets Patch Released on: January 31, 2007, 07:02:47 pm
Quote from: Dese;555032
Also note that in Europe the expansion came on DVD. I think we can assume that the CD patch also works for the DVD version.

The CD patch worked on my DVD Version.

For anyone who gets a failure error message from the patcher — try restoring objects.package from compressed.zip on the original disk. In some games (like mine!) objects.package had become corrupted, causing the patch to fail.

Hi Squinge, just wanted to report I get the same issue. Even the parents can't help the baby age.

Good, this should stop all teens from swarming the cradle...
6  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / On Werewolves staying the same during daylight? on: January 18, 2007, 02:46:41 pm
Pescado's FFS Lot Debugger has an option "Fix stuck werewolf hairiness" which you can use to make a werewolf normal again during the daytime.

Very cool Squinge, and thanks Smiley
8  Resident Creators / EP4 Mods / Lifetime Want Requirements Reduced on: October 24, 2006, 07:25:56 am

It may work with rerolling the want, but it didn't work for the grilled cheese during testing with a sim that already had that want.

That is because a reroll only works if it can reroll /to/ something. Grilled Cheese Sims have only one valid LTW so there's nothing to reroll.

A shopping pack is based on the expansion pack code that came before it, so you need the version for that XP, even if you do not actually have it installed.
Since FFS and GLS came after OFB, you always need the OFB (XP3) version of mods.

Rerolling will give the new (reduced value) LTWs.
But a non-rerolled existing LTW will not be changed.

I haven't played TS1 since I got Singles, and then TS2.

It is impossible for me to go back now Wink
12  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Fall out of love automatically when LTR is below 70 on: September 19, 2006, 07:27:11 am
Thanks Ozz Smiley
13  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Fall out of love automatically when LTR is below 70 on: September 19, 2006, 03:19:37 am
I am a little confused by this. Does it clear love/crush flags if STR or LTR are below 70, or if both are?

Also, what happens if Sims are going steady/are engaged/are married? Will it do anything with these unions?
14  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Make Up / Misc. Hidden Maxis Stuff (Fixed) on: September 13, 2006, 04:58:31 pm
Weird. Even with this as my only custom content, it does not appear Smiley

Perhaps it was somehow disabled in FFS or GLS?
15  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Make Up / Misc. Hidden Maxis Stuff (Fixed) on: September 13, 2006, 03:44:53 pm
None of this extracted content shows in my game. Which is weird considering the many thanks you already got…

I took a look at the files, and they're all set to be hidden according to the flags. Flipping this flag doesn't make them appear either.

What is the trick?

I own all XPs and SPs.
