.....is his castle, or so they tell me, so if you have sims with notions of grandeur, here's their very own castle to keep up with the Joneses.
 
My last two houses were a bit naf really, so I thought I'd put a bit more effort in this time! There's two gatehouses, two bath houses, three bedrooms, an enormous banqueting room with kitchen area off and another entertainment area, a small garden for quiet contemplation within the castle walls and the obligitary moat. Price is around the £144000/£145000 mark and it's partly furnished - I put in bathroom stuff and some dining tables & chairs

This is what we call a Maisonette here in the UK (although it's usually part of row of houses). It has a double tandem garage, 3 bedrooms - 1 with en-suite - 2 bathrooms (sorry about the colours - I tend to get a bit carried away in bathrooms!), plenty of space on the ground floor for a small rec room/gym, a sun terrace and a pool. It's partly furnished, you'll just need to finish off.
 
No custom content, all Maxis stuff but you will need Uni & NL - sorry but I can't remember what extra decor was added in these from the original.
 
The price, almost forgot, is 49,010

I decided it was about time I gave something back as goodness knows I've downloaded enough!
 
This is fairly boring in terms of content - all Maxis stuff, no recolours or anything like that (I'm not quite that good!!) It's unfurnished and has 3 bedrooms (although 1 is HUGE and you could easily split it), 3 bathrooms, a basement, a double garage and a garage rooftop sun terrace. The terrain is untouched - i tend to leave them plain then just put a few nice sculptures or such, but hey, you can do what you like right. It's around the 45k mark in terms of price

A semi-detached is actually two houses joined together in the middle - they could either be 1 or 2 (or possibly more) storeys. Yours, although 2 storeys, are actually detached houses as they don't physically join onto each other. If you have 2 residences in one house (be it semi, detached or terraced - 3 or more houses joined together) then we would call them flats - apartments to you guys over the pond.
