I wish I were I were a simmy!!!!!! OHH LALALA

I've been reading the boards since I bought and installed BV....... So far I've had numerous problems with it......


1- We had a couple of CD/DVD copying software that my hubby downloaded that I had to completely uninstall in order for the game to even boot up.....
2 all my hacks are removed....... however none of my custom content shows up except......  body shop items, some build items such as floors and walls, and my houses show up in the lot thumbnails.....(i've not tried any because of the fact none of my custom content shows up), and recolors of Maxis original furniture......
3- there is severe lag when I go to BV lots, and if the weather is bad.... raining, or snowing, and I happen to not be directly inside a house......
4-on the BV lot, my sim was completely in the red on hunger, and energy, but would not eat or sleep. She would lay down but get right back up, or sit down to eat then stand back up again without touching her food.   UUUGGGHHHH!!!! had to end vacation and take her back to regular lot in order for her to fill those needs.

I have enabled cc in the options menu then rebooted the game, and even my computer, did everything the same as I did when I added each of the other EP's. I've gone and deleted the groups.cache, and the files in the thumbnail folder.
So my question goes... how is it that most or even just some of us are having the same problems with the custom content but others are not having any issues? what are ya'll doing that, I'm not???

Holy &*^%..... Didn't realize there were that many hacks!  I thought my few 7-10 were a lot!  WOW!

I'm sorry but I seem to have the exact same issue. no CC shows except Body shop and build. My furniture only shows if it is a recolor of a maxis original. I haven't tried deleting the groups.cache or the thumbnail files. Aren't those necessary?

I am unable to see any custom furniture, but some recolors of Maxis original furniture will show up. I also am able to use custom skins, hair, and some clothes, but nothing else.... I didn't realize how much I used the insiminator download till now. I miss it......
