Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Shu Chi Market

Fantastically done! I'm wondering, though... When a weather effect (rain, hail, snow, etc...) occurs, will it go through and the pop up message of "Oh no! I have weather in my house!" pop up? I only ask because I've seen someone else's take on Asian styled architecture and it looked great, but was made before Seasons, so the weather just went through the "roof". I'm guessing the "roofs" were just walls that were bent around or something. Even if they were floors they should have still blocked the rain and what not. Also, do you have plans to make a lot like this to be a residential, instead of a community? Great work, once again.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Where's Sims2Carsource?

I'm sure it's a nice site, but there's some people that don't like to have to sign up at so many sites just to get a few downloads. Everybody's tastes are different. So what the majority views as good work the minority would see it as the exact opposite, and vice versa. I'm signed up at enough places as it is already and have no intention or desire to sign up at any more places. Besides, I signed up at Sims2Carsource, and if they ever get back up again chances are I'm gonna have to sign back up again. Some of the best sites out there with custom content for the game don't require you to sign up. Look at Parsimonious. Plenty of creators there and yet you don't have to sign up to download or even view the content. It just doesn't seem right to me. Signing up should be an option, not a requirement. It's especially not worth it if you have to sign up to just see what they have. How is a person supposed to decide if they should join another site based on "You must either be logged in or a registered member to view the content of this site"? That turns me away from a site.

I noticed that Tre Zillah is still releasing cars (on sites that you have to sign up and register at if you even want to view things, let alone download them).
TO ANY OF THE MODERATORS AT Sims2Carsource.COM:
Are the vehicles that he and the others are releasing going to be on the site when (and if) it comes back up?

Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / Warlokk's Ren Gal mesh?

Dude, it's like a dozen posts above yours... search for "Renaissance". That, or look at any one of the many many many ma-haaaa-any threads of recolors and original outfits for said bodyshape and follow the trail back to Warlokk's original thread for the bodyshape. Every time I can't find something, rather then waste my time starting a thread that's going to get either no answer or an answer I could have found myself I go looking everywhere for the title, usually by using the search tool. But even if that fails and I get back a bazillion threads that have nothing to do with what I want I look at threads made by other people that did recolors or the clothing set(s) for the bodymesh and that usually leads me back to the original thread started by the original creator.

Hi all, this is Vii. Just to let you know, we are coming, but the eta still unknown. Switching and migrating the whole forums and website, also, if I am not mistaken, adapting the current forum to a different script type forum. Again, we are coming back, just hang on and be patient. God Bless Everyone. Vii, Super Mod at S2CS.net Thank you cellshaded. While I have absolutely no clue who you are on the Sims2CarSource, your input and feedback is appreciated. And thank you to all the forumers here that miss Sims2CarSource so much and that have been patient in waiting for them to get back up and running again. I'm sure that those that run the site there that have seen this thread greatly appreciate your support and patience. By the way, to any that run Sims2CarSource, I love the Cadillac Cien!!!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BodyShop Nose Issue
|
on: July 26, 2007, 08:24:01 pm
|
Is there any way to actually "save" a face through BodyShop or in the game? So that way I don't have to keep using whatever puffer fish faced Sim the thing gives me... It'd be nice to have a face of my own to work with while I am in-game so I don't have to work with cartoon faces. The only reason I use BodyShop is so I can have faces that aren't deformed or bloated in an unhealthy way. That and so I can also have proper Asian shaped eyes. BodyShop is the only way to get that accomplished. They really shouldn't have left out all the features that BodyShop does from the game.

Files that everyone wants, unless they're hiding under a rock: jwilson5's default skin replacements Do those skin tones have tattoos, body piercings, or lighter parts then others that look like the skin is plastic? I can't find clean, smooth, human looking skin tones for any of Warlokk's bodyshapes except for what Warlokk himself puts out with his meshes.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BodyShop Nose Issue

I have no idea what it looks like in-game. Though I can almost be certain that it would be the same since there are no differences between bodyshop and actual game play on my end. I've had some Sims with odd features, both intentional and unintentional, and it never changes for in-game play for me.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BodyShop Nose Issue

Ew, that's really ugly. Yes. Yes it is. I've never seen that before. Have you tried moving the nose out a bit? Yes, and it didn't work. I was thinking move the eyebrow ridge way out then pull it back in. I tried that as well and it didn't fix the problem. I've tried tinkering with everything in the "brow" section and the "nose" section and it didn't want to go away. Thank you though, Nita-Chan and miros1. And thank you for posting.

Moderators, if this is in the wrong place please feel free to relocate this thread. If it's already been covered, please let me know where.
Does anyone know how to work well enough with the BodyShop to make it so that there's not some grotesque dimple directly above the bridge of the nose just below the middle of the eye brows? I've been tinkering with it for the past couple of hours and I can't get rid of it. Or at least I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I attached a picture of what I am talking about. The yellow circle is there to highlight the problem and make it more visible.

I like hooters as much as the next straight chap, and when I first downloaded all of his work I almost always used the D and up. Yet lately I've found that I've been using the C a lot more often then any of the others, otherwise I used the bodyshape series body meshes.
Some of the comments in this thread seem a bit "hurtful" and disrespectful to some of the ladies that are naturally A's or B's.
