Ouch, miros1, that really had to suck. Then again, if you're fine and doing well... I just wish I knew why people act the way they do, then I wouldn't wind up so confused a good deal of the time. Right now, we're dealing with our son hitting puberty and from the look of it, it's gonna be a bumpy ride so we're trying to locate the seat belts for it. He's transitioning to being in middle school, getting taller than his mom (I admit it, I'm SHORT) and all the hormonal changes a boy between the ages of twelve and twenty-one go through. Add all of that to the package of Autism and yeah, it's gonna be a bumpy ride. He's noticing girls and yet he's still so innocent; it's hard to reconcile the two concepts! I'm really hoping his beard doesn't come in until after graduation, you know?

It's nice to see how well people are doing, I'm glad to hear that things are working out for people. I finally found all of my Sims 2 disks and may just put the game onto my laptop but not sure how Windows 8.1 will react to it. Well, that and the fact of I'll have to search out the patches because I'm not sure which disk they got saved to and to find Numenor's thingie for it and and and and... I find myself wanting to play the game, yet scared to. Does that make any sense?

The Hobbit, Battle of the Five Armies. Good series but I have some issues with the characters thrown in that aren't originally in the book. Sue me, I can be a purist at times. I had time to watch because I'm down for about the third or fourth week sick and not looking for any improvement for about another month or more... Sometimes, I really hate being too stubborn to crawl under the blankets and just die, you know??

Been doing a bunch of baking since the weather turned cold, pies and such. Also, my cat Maggie is wreaking total devastation upon my silk flower arrangement. I think I need to give her some catnip and watch her get blitzed.

My guy likes to arrange things in long lines and he's found out that it can be done in his toy bin. We make a game of it to see just how much stuff will fit in without crowding it or being unable to shut the drawers. He also had developed a thing where his school shirts have to be separated from his hack around tee shirts and they all have to be arranged in colour groups and those groups are sub-divided into shades, from brightest to darkest. Let's not even go there when it comes to his underclothing...

Finally found a doctor willing to let me have the medication for my thyroid that I've been chasing after since I came down with this stupid disease twenty-four years ago and while it's only been near a week that I've been on it, I'm responding to it quickly and making progress that otherwise had taken six to eight weeks on the synthetic drugs. I'm just hoping the carpal tunnel will relax so I can get busy again on typing up some things I promised to do for a friend! I can type faster than I could before, but still have to take frequent breaks in order to let the ouch factor die down. I'm also trying to locate the rest of my Doctor Who collection, which my mother-in-law snooped through and rearranged in her search for things to take home with her. Yeah, found out she's been liberating things that don't belong to her and she got informed that she isn't welcome in my house for at least six months and the items/cash returned... Such a fun life I lead at times. But, on a more positive note, my son has learned that it can be fun to arrange his toys in various bins to save time in locating them later!
