Curious... I'm sure (and hoping) that when the Sims 3 comes out, the Sims 2 sites won't fall by the way-side. But, I thought I'd open a post so that myself and others who are head-strong about sticking with Sims 2 are re-assured that they will get the same care and support by these sites that they do now; nothing will change... right?

I'm seeing a lot of people that are insisting on getting Sims 3, but also I'm seeing a lot of people that really don't want to see the hours of gaming and money spent on Sims 2 wasted. So, all in all, it looks like the community has been roughly split in half.

What's to become of Insimenator? Will it be cut in half, or will it be the same - mostly supporting Sims 2? I would hate to see awesome creators just give up on Sims 2. We would surely miss them.

Like I mentioned before. I am sure the Sims 2 world won't die off. I just thought I'd hear it from an InSim Administrator, or Creator, Modifier, etc. Best to hear it from the horse's mouth.

Every morning when the mailman comes, he puts the mail in the box, walks around to the back of the box, and then comes around again to put repeat the action. He's stuck in repeating the action. Why is this happening? This one lot is the only lot so far that I've seen this issue with.

By the way, I have NL, Uni, and OFB.

I have been a member here for years. And I have tried to get along with many of the people here who are members and who run this site. I try to be respectful of all, but I have to say... I am pretty miffed.

I'm not asking for illegal sites. I was never asking for illegal sites. And it was closed. Who knows if someone could have shown me a way to watch them on a legal site, now I can't find out because I feel my post was prematurely closed.

This is irritating, because a lot of posts, I feel, are misunderstood and closed way too soon. Is there a way to stop this or at least clarify the real issue before just closing the post way too soon?

By the way, I'm hoping that bringing this up doesn't encourage ill-will toward me in the future. But I've been dealing with this for awhile and feel that this issue needs attention.

I'm new to this particular forum so I'm not sure if I can place this question here. But its something I haven't been able to find at all on the net. Since you guys are so good at digging for answers or links to Sim's questions, I was wondering if you could help me with this...

I am currently watching Supernatural and Smallville on DVD (I hate watching them on T.V. I always stay a half season behind so I can watch the finale's and the season opener side by side). I was wondering if I can actually watch Supernatural, Season 4 and Smallville, season 8, from the first to 10th or so episode on the net. I found a couple of links. One of them is Smallville, season 8, 1st to current episodes. But unfortunately, the dang thing says its been removed due to infringement (at the least the first two).

Does anyone know where I can actually watch full episodes from the beginning of the current seasons of both Supernatural and Smallville? I know they're out there. After many frustrating searches, I thought I could ask for help. 

Someone please help me. I'm pulling my hair out, uploading a lot.

Every time I have it ready to go (everything entered properly), I post it and it gives me this message:

"Your session timed out while posting. Please try to re-submit your message. No subject was filled in. The message body was left empty" And, yes, I had both subject and body filled out. Why is this happening? I've uploaded before and followed the exact same steps as before. 

Also, how are some people able to upload enough pics to see the lot, yet it won't allow me to upload more than 4 items?

This is actually a question about the Insimenator site.

I was using the search engine and looked up some things that haven't been responded to, or have been given the right answer to, that actually would be useful information for me. However, it was past the 30 day posting rule to answer back.

Where can I find this rule? And without sounding disrespectful, I was just wondering exactly why this rule was placed. Seems a little redundant to recopy the entire problem. Especially when there are 10 responses to the initial post.

So, this is just a simple question I had about installing the Sims 2.

I know that half way through the original Sims series of games, they weren't able to be installed onto two different computers. The code would only work on one.

So, assuming they did the same thing with the Sims 2, how are people able to sell a used game on ebay or able to install the game on two different computers using the same code?

So, when you build a wall, the wall tool appears. But now, it won't go away! It's there when I am in Buy Mode, when I save the game, and even in Live Mode. It is even showing up in my pictures! It just follows me around wherever I go on the lot. It just hangs there kind of faintly in the background.

Why is this happening? I can't seem to get rid of it.

Should I try exiting the lot and coming back?

Is there such a thing as a hood being corrupt?

I have tried following the processes of finding a downloaded culprit from sims wiki and I have also followed the advice of organizing custom content. However, my Pleasantview Downtown is so screwed up I can barely play it. I have tried checking out all the buildings (all compatible). My drivers are all updated and I have all the computer requirements I need to play. Half my buildings are flashing blue. In fact, for some reason, my Downtown and University hoods have some how melded together on one lot. Where I have my one of my sports bar in the downtown has completely taken over one of my lots on the University hood (they are placed almost in the same place on the neighborhood grill. I think something is wrong with the Downtown hood (and no, its the one that came with the game). So I have been thinking of transferring all these lots and families to another hood (they don't cause problems elsewhere). I don't know what else to do.

Any other suggestions?

I know I asked this before, so I apologize to any of you who helped me out (I believe it was Tenshi) . I found the uploading forum I posted months ago but it's from the old site and the link no longer works and need to know where the link is on this new site.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me.

So I have my younger cousins here. Is it all possible to play the Sims (just with the regular games) if I take out all my adult CC?

Would they be able to save their games if I give them their own neighborhood, and would I be able to play as normal if I returned it when I am ready to play my own?

I have Any Game Saver, also. Would they be able to play with that and then save that way, or should I just try the first option?

Okay, so I'm working on only my second day of trudging through my hellishly disorganized Downloads and looking forward to the next few days of doing the same thing until I am completely satisfied.

My question is... what in the heck are those long numbered downloads in my folder? They're just a long strand of numbers and a few letters in between.

Example: 0b27df818a344d34a9bc98bf7778 0001, and these: 0191506a, 0191506b, etc.

I don't like these things, lol. I'm sure I can get away with throwing them in a sub-folder. It's never affected my downloads before, I don't think. Are they important or can I get away with trashing them? I have tons of them!

Hello, fellow Simmers. I have a few questions about uploading.

I have a few requests I'm working on. No prob. The one problem I have... uploading.

I found Marvine's tutorial on uploading, however, I didn't see anything that could answer my questions below. This is my first time uploading and I really don't want to get into trouble with anyone or get banned from the site!

First of all, which packaging should uploaded files be formatted in (ex: WinRAR - because I have all my files in SimPE format right now) and how do I transfer them from one format to the next if I need to (from SimPE to WinRAR)? I think this was posted not too long ago but I can't find the post.

Also, do the people downloading my lots need to have all the EP's I have if I only use things from specific EP's THEY are using (I have OFB, but I only use items from base & Uni if they want a dorm)?

Moreover, I am about to go into my game right now and need to disable any hacks / mods... right? Do I need to disable my major hacks / mods like Inteen and Insiminator, also? I'm using my Clean Installer to help me out with those.

Finally, if I add any CC (with credit, of course), but it's from a house I downloaded, do I credit the creator & site I found it anyway? Or, do I just not bother to add it (example: adding a table I got from a house I downloaded from Pimp My Sims)?

I would really appreciate any help you could give me.

I downloaded this new channel a long time ago. It told me it would over-write my music channel on the TV, but I did it anyway. Now I'm down a channel. Is there any way I can restore my music channel?

I need help with organizing my Collections file. Its got me really confused.

I just made new collections and sorted different items in different folders. I went through categorizing and organizing all new collections folders (while in game), including creating new collections with new names. It's easier having everything I need by room, as opposed to 100's of different collections by creator's specific rooms / categories. I would rather just have ALL my office accessories together, ALL my bedroom decor together, and so on.

This is my trouble. After somewhat finishing, I thought, I have an access amount of extra folders now and I don't need them. Or some have appropriate pictures to them, but I'd like to customize my own names for them, as opposed to having the name I downloaded them with.

How do I go in and organize folders (what comes first, second, and third), delete any extra's, and rename any of them that I need?

By the way, when I go into the Collections file, I see a ton of things that aren't even in my Collections category anymore. Plus, I can't seem to find the names of any file that match the ones I currently have so how in the world am I supposed to even organize them? Can I organize them using Delphy's download organizer?
