I knew that the Sims now have the tinker option on many things. Never thought about it interfering with their hobbies. It does. Tonight I was reading Rebecah's post found here:

and realized a lot of things come with new options so went into my game to check it out and test everything. I wanted to see how much it would hinder their progress. It makes a difference...

1)All your previous bathtubs, sinks, toliets, hot tubs, etc have to be removed unless you don't care about the new hobby features of Freetime. Your Sims can't tinker with them. I removed all but one bathtub I just couldn't let go.

2)All your bookcases also need to be updated or you won't be able to study any of the new skills from them. I only kept one for children because I use it mostly as decor. All my beautiful bookcases.

3) Electronics. Appliances. None of the new options, so they need to be updated.

4) Some of the custom beds work, some don't. Other furniture is all fine, as far as I can tell right now.

I never tested the cars or any of the decor things. I'm too depressed now. Almost half my CC is gone or why bother with Freetime if all the options aren't available. Anyone notice anything else?

You can blame the picture taker for how beautiful these pictures are. Couldn't even get the camera to line up. Should see the pictures I take in RL you'd think these are fantastic. lol I just threw up a wall and covered them. Added a few goodies. There are two murals. I couldn't decide on the stucco one, so there are several different stucco ones in brown and beige to match the stucco mural. The bathroom mural is three tiles and comes with the blue you see next to it. The stucco mural is four tiles. Use them however you like.

Here's a question, with Squinge gone is anyone going to update his mods? That mod isn't going to work when the new EP comes out is it?

Ok you asked for it, you got it, here's that big ole eyeball for right in the center of your head! hehehehe Wouldn't let me block the other two eyes though dang it. So it's a triclops. I think it's lovely...Oo it's kinda cool too,  when she moved her forehead to yawn, stretch or smile, it looks like the eyeball is animated; freaky!

These are made from the bathing suit that comes with the base game.
I decided to make a toddler dress from the blue one so she can match her mommy, it's also a base game mesh. I have all EP's and Stuff packs up to Season's. I could not get that toddler to do what I wanted. So, I took a couple extra pics in bodyshop for you and a couple close up's of the textures in CAS for the adult ones.

I decided to give it a try at creating a set of eyes, there are two zips. Don't think I'll be doing this very often. When I went to making one I made it huge!! lol I'm attaching it also so you can see the original and just how crazy I am, it was on 7 layers when I finally finished it. Anyway there are two zips. One for CAS and the other is contacts that can be found in make-up thanks to our friendly Penguin Pickpock who taught me how to do this. The image goes over the 600x 600 thingy, but I figured one that was 800 x 600, instead of 9 that were 600 x600 Kathy would forgive me this once for. lol

These are both from base Maxis's meshes, just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my fellow American's I made the little design from a tutorial.

Same thing as the lizard, except I used an actual tube on this one. I asked a friend of mine that belongs to a PSP group if she had any cartoon tubes and she sent me a few. So I just colored the pants/shoes/T and added a T-shirt texture to the shirt A few additional wrinkles. I added some pockets to the pants, etc...anyway do what you like with it

Nothing to tell here, you can use this however you like.  My grandson said I didn't make him nothing so I did. This T-shirt is kinda photskinned, but not. I took a small section and made it seamless then cut out the lizard to use, because sometimes the photoskinned clothes gets blurred and I didn't want that. Oh forgot I colored the pants and shoes too.

You have to go here and get Qortex's big poster mesh for these paintings. I used the templates to make them, but they don't work without the mesh, just ask a big dummy. hehe

A friend of mine Grete in Germany shared these with me from some card scans. She shared several with me, but I just used these two so far. So I included her inititials on the packages. You can use these with your new Mime girl or not. lol
