She just went up on MTS2 today, but mostly people are just telling me how it doesn't look like her or what I could do differently.

Also, I think it's obvious from the overall crunchy/blurriness of the model and the background that it's not just the textures. I have an older computer with onboard graphics and tho the settings were all on high, this is the best I could get, pic wise. Sorry!)

I was surprised by the lack of Drew sims, and the quality of the ones I found, so I decided to try my hand at making her.


The hair pictured is a Peggy donation mesh. I believe it's 0041. The hair and outfit in the game pics is NOT included, tho the outfit is just a maxis one from NL.


She's been packaged with simple maxis clothes and hair. The bodyshop pics show what she's wearing, and a pic with and without the lipstick so you can see the difference.
It's all maxis base-game stuff, so you shouldn't have any problems. She looks pretty good with most hairstyles, and brown/strawberry colors.

The skintone is an Enayla skin, and I did not edit it. Thusly, it has a few tiny beauty marks on the face, predominantly around the forehead. I chose to leave them on because I didn't want to edit the skin, and also because, hey, people rarely have perfect skin, so who's to say Drew does? I think it adds something.

Here we have Famke Janssen, actress probably best known for her role as Jean Grey in the X Men series.


The hair pictured is a recolor/alpha edit of a Peggy donation mesh, and is NOT included. The mesh is number 0069, I believe. It's one of the most recent ones.

I just mean that the outfit looked abit like it had gotten blurred when bodyshop saved it, since everything else in the picture is nice and clear.

It's a lovely sim, I just was trying to be helpful.

She looks great, but my concern is how blurry the clothes look... If that's one of the things you made yourself, my guess is that possibly you haven't fixed the settings on bodyshop, since your game pics all have high quality textures on everything else (skin, hair, background, etc.) which leads me to believe it isn't your graphics settings...

Good god this one was hard. This guy literally looks different from every pic I've seen of him, and every angle. I did my best tho, and in honesty I tried for character realizm over likeness in the end, since I think by the outfit/makeup you could recognize it as Tommy even if the celeb likeness isn't 100%... Tho all things considered I think it looks alot like Michael Pitt...


Okay, this is the second sim of what I hope to be a several sim project, based on the original characters from the movie Hedwig and the Angry Inch, by John Cameron Mitchell.

This version of Tommy is based off of the looks seen in the final appearance of him in the movie, during the song "Wicked Little Town" (Tommy Version).

The tattoo is actually a part of his skin, not an outfit.

I ended up making his outfit seperates as I couldn't find a one-piece that worked right. So his 'shirt' is an invisible shirt, and then his pants are super low waisted.

Ya know, that might not be a bad idea. I wouldn't wanna make him have breasts tho, so I'd need to use the mesh that is just shapely legs/heels but a flat chest. That might be hard since I think there's only one mesh for it, so I couldn't do his green dress...

I really tried to capture that sadness that JCM has in his features through most of the movie...

I plan on doing versions for the Angry Inch (with zebra pants and 'Punk Rock' shirt), Sugar Daddy (kinda stewardess/school girl outfit), Tear Me Down (little jeans shorts/top outfit), and Midnight Radio, which will actually be a boy version. (Meaning, not in drag.) The Midnight Radio version will probably come packaged with another sim tho, since it's really stripped down with little content.

I REALLY need to find someone to make me her signature hair tho. Otherwise I can't make any of those.

I was really surprised not to see any Hewig sims or even clothing inspired by the movie, and after discovering Simmergirls' amazing website, I decided to make her on my own.


This sim is based on Hedwig Schmidt, from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. For those not familiar, I highly reccomend you watch the trailor on youtube. It's an amazing  movie.



THIS IS A MALE SIM.
Since Hedwig is a post-op trannsexual with a botched sex change, leaving her not really a woman but not quite a man, I stayed true to the character and made this as a male sim. However, I used a skin and meshes from Simmergirls site, which will give him a lovely feminine body.
The nipples on the skin do show, however because this is not a 'showerproof' skin, the body reverts back to the standard male body when naked, which looks alittle odd (like breasts have been drawn on his pecs, lol) but not obscene.

I had a hell of a time matching her hair, and this was the best I could do. If I can find a hair that looks like her standard 'farrah'-esque hairstyle throughout most of the movie, I plan to make outfits for most of the major song performances in the movie.
