2  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Where did she go?!?! on: November 20, 2008, 01:04:17 am
I made a sim for my game, got her all settled in and everything and then I shut down the game for the night. When I went back in a few days later, she was gone! nowhere to be found. So.... I make another girl and move her into that same house, it's been a few weeks and she's fine. The first sim that I moved in, her picture is still up, I can still ask her to do things but the command disappears. I can still look at her needs but they are all turning bright red. I noticed that when the walkby sims get near her mailbox, they stop, speak and wave, when I hover over that area, I can see her plumbob and its turning red too.  I can't kill her off, I tried that, I would like to have  her back if I can, is there something I can do for that to happen?  I have uni and nightlife if that helps.
3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Used Sims on: October 24, 2008, 06:28:48 pm
I have sims that I have created in my sim bin. I was wondering if once I have placed them in the game, can I delete them from the bin?
4  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Is this possible? on: August 24, 2008, 05:38:40 pm
I have a sims game on my computer, but I would like to set up another sims game. When I switch screens is it possible to have 2 different sims games on the same computer?  What I am trying to do is have a sims game all on its own and then be able to use my computer under the other identity for "computing".  After I get fully loaded then I would like to get rid of the sims on the first ID side and just use the second one for simming. I hope I didn't give anyone a headache trying to explain this.:smt120

6  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / How do I remove stairs? on: July 22, 2008, 10:14:17 pm
I'm remodeling Don Lothario's house and I want to remove the third floor but when I click on them,  I get a message saying I can't pick them up. What do I do to get rid of the stairs when this happens?

Thanks
7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I did a bad thing (I think) on: July 17, 2008, 11:36:24 am
A few weeks back, I resurrected Darleen Dreamer and now I am having some problems with my game. I lost Herb Oldie, Darren Dreamer and Darleen, when I first went into the Dreamer's house, Dirk was frozen and Darren and Darleen were nowhere but their faces were still in the family list, there was a plumbob there for Darleen but no Darlene, so.......I moved Dirk to the family bin and bulldozed the house. I then moved Dirk into his own home and Darleen's pic was in the family list but no plumbob and no Darleen, I used booprop and an error came up for Darleen so I deleted, her memory stayed with Dirk she was still in his friend list and his phone book. I ended up killing Dirk off and so far  my game has run fine and I will never resurrect a character again. Do you think my game is fixed or is there something else I should do.
8  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Too many files? on: June 19, 2008, 11:35:26 am
How will I know if I have too many files in my game? I am a downloadaholic, for every 100 or so files I get rid of I add 150 more, I currently have over 51,000files in my game. Here are my stats:

Size: 10.2 GB (11,015,725,896 bytes)

Size on disk: 9.82 GB (10,548,367,570 bytes)

Contains: 52,195 files

Am I on download overload?

Thanks in advance.
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Can't use computer to find a job on: May 31, 2008, 12:41:45 am
I tried to get my sim to use the computer to get a job, when she sits at the computer and does a job search and it's time for the jobs to pop up, she pops behind the computer chair. I used the clean installer to see if one of my hacks or careers I downloaded was the problem but when I tested them she smoothly did the job search, so now I don't know what the problem could be. Can anyone help with this issue? I have uni and nightlife if that helps. My inseminator and inteen are working just fine and she can find a job in the newspaper with no problem.
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Downloaded sims on: April 27, 2008, 12:03:10 pm
I downloaded some ready made sims in my game about a week ago. I went to body shop to use them and my game crashed, I was told to go to my downloads folder and find the name of the sims I downloaded and delete them, but when I tried that, there are no names for the sims, so now what do I do? Should I just delete body shop all together or is there something else I can do without having to get rid of the whole game and lose all of my downloads? Or could I just go as far as I can and use what I have before I downloaded that other stuff.
11  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / I want them back on: April 08, 2008, 05:40:12 pm
I lost all of my original sim families and some of them I remade myself, but I would like to have all of my original families and their homes back, I was told that I could reset my neighborhood to get them all back but if I do this won't I lose all of the families in my neighborhood?
I have some fantastic sims in my game and I certainly don't want to lose them so, is there a way that I can get all of my original families back without losing my other sims and houses:smt120?
12  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / boolprop question on: March 18, 2008, 11:33:53 pm
I have been told that it is ok to leave boolprop on when I log off and I have been told that leaving boolprop on when logging off is a big no no, I have a bad habit of forgetting to turn it off when I log off. Lately though I have been playing my game without it at all, it's on for when my sims need a little help in some areas but I don't really use it since I have the inseminator. So should I leave it on or turn it off when Im done playing?

14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Wedding Dresses on: December 04, 2007, 10:47:24 am
Is there a way that my sim can wear any dress she likes for a wedding dress? I have a sim who is getting married for the second time and I want her to wear a different dress than the one that comes in the game (I think its rather ugly) and I have seen other peoples sims with different wedding dresses. Is this possible?
15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Inseminator question on: December 03, 2007, 05:55:32 pm
Now for my other question, can I use inteen and inseminator together? I want to hook a teen sim up with an adult is this possible with just inseminator or will I need both?
