Ancient Highway had been benevolent in coming up with a version of Inteen (albeit teen pregnancy) to allow YAs to marry and have families while they attend college. BUT he did not include the majority of flavor packs. The series are limited to what they can allow in the game, but from what I understood, the University Families series is working.

I don't know if the miscarriage aspect is included. You can visit Ancient Castaways to ask about that aspect for the series. He may or may not consider adding anything else to enhance almost as realistic as possible an experience for players to have sending their Sims to college.

In the meantime, this idea is a good one to explore and will be on hold until we find out what else the University Families series can offer. The work is not a definite replacement for Inteen prior to Apartment Life.

Definitely looks like a worth addition to the game but sadly there doesn't appear to be any mention of miscarriage. Maybe he would add it on request though since he already seems to have a grasp on some of the features from Inteen. Thanks for the heads up!

Nor do I want to update Inteen for that matter either. Way too complicated for someone as simple as me. Cheesy

Oh god, I wouldn't even ask anyone to do this. After all Jase has been through to update it and then to lose it all. I fully understand the undertaking of such things even if I've never grasped coding at all. In terms of Inteen, it sucks that it won't be updated now but it was a good thing while it lasted.

I would have to look at Inteen to see if there is anyway I can do this. I think it will require a lot of work. I may check into it when I get a chance. I will let you know either way.

I hope it's not too much work, but thanks for looking into it anyway! Even if the mod is more simplified I would be happy with that too.

I've been in a kind of sims funk since Jase lost all his work on the near complete Inteen mod and haven't really wanted to play at all. But it wasn't really teens being pregnant that made me use the mod it was more so for the little things. I know miscarriage could be a controversial topic and if it's out of your comfort zone to create a mod that does such a thing I understand. But personally it adds not only a bit more realism to the game but a new level of difficulty since you have to keep the pregnant sim happy and comfortable.

What I'd like in a mod like this is a chance of miscarriage for pregnant sims up to the 2nd trimester based on low energy and hunger as well as their aspiration (if its in the red) when any or all are low for an extended period of time if possible. Maybe warning cramps as the inteen had, but I don't know how much coding went into that since I'm not modding savvy. Memories for had a miscarriage are also nice but not necessary. Smiley

I'm running all expansions up to AL and a myriad of mods that may or may not conflict with a mod like this. But if you're willing to make it, I'll be willing to check compatibility with the mods I do use and just test the mod in general.

If you're unwilling to do this for personal reasons that's fine too I can direct my request elsewhere, I just picked you due to reading somewhere that your pregnant sims rub belly mod also has the pregnancy animation in it or something, and that's the animation that jase used in his mod and it works perfectly.

Hope I Covered everything. Thanks for all your time and effort into modding this game, wouldn't be the same without you!

This was mentioned on the inteen forums and linked to the ACR but twojeffs said that the ACR does not change any clothing globals so it can't be that mod. It's quite possible that it is a a maxis glitch, or it is a problem with another mod.

I'm using this hack along with TJ's ACR mod over at MATY. Because of the way sims age and the way TJ's mod is set up if I have sims that go to university from their home lot by the time they are adults the game thinks they are far too old to have kids using the ACR mod. I think sims out of uni using this mod end up being in their 40's when they graduate. Is there a way to correct this so that the ACR mod will still see the just graduated adults as being adults and not in the elder age range? I hope this makes sense and that something can be done so these two mods can work together to allow my sims to become pregnant autonomously since its more fun to play that way.

Thank you! Thank you! (really can't live without this one anymore)

I'm still having problems with the YA's getting the want to write term paper even though they've already done so. I removed all my hacks except teens to ya no college and college interactions on any lot and I'm still having the same problem. So my best guess is either seasons screwed up some code in the game itself or it screwed up something to do with either of these mods.

This hack removes the "give gift" option from the menu in the game.  I spent about 3 hours tracking it down.

I'm using the no autonomous female only version and I still have the gift give option in my game

Just wondering if anyone is using this in seasons? I've been using it and for the most part it works but for some reason when my sims finish their term paper they keep rolling the want to "write term paper" Not too sure if thats caused by this mod or another one. Anyone else noticing this?
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Cheats IndividualRoofSlopeAngle? on: February 01, 2007, 07:00:53 pm
They didn't explain this very well when they announced the cheat. To change the angle of a specific roof type in the cheat and the angle you want and then press and hold ctrl and alt and click on the roof you wish to change. It should work...

The file is WinRAR. Do you have this zip opener? If not then you can get it here: http://www.win-rar.com/download.html , hit the download button. It is free and I use this more often.  If you still have problems, and I will send a zip file up next.

7zip should have extracted it no problem as it works on both .zip and .rar.. I'm guessing there was just a problem with the download for some reason. Anyway I got the house off TSR today and it extracted no problem. Can't wait to play it!

I wasn't able to extract this, 7zip says it's not a supported archive... I've tried downloading  the file like 4 times and still the same thing... I really want this house!

I noticed that when my sims go to feed the baby and the action cue gets interrupted while they are nursing they don't quite set the baby down. Like when my sim went to answer the phone when she was nursing she went to drop the baby but it stuck in front of her floating above the ground and so when she walked down stairs to get the phone the baby was kind of floating along in front of her.... Very strange and creepy.. not to mention annoying.

I'm using the no autonomous version (even though they still feed the baby whenever they damn well feel like it) no mods conflicting with this one and so far I've only tested/noticed it in one house.
15  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / In Testing:Teens To Young Adult Without Going To College on: November 13, 2006, 01:07:56 pm
nolamehires was conflicting with OFBHireYA (which I removed just in case) and OFB_CommunitySkilling was conflicting with Smonaff_Jogging(AllowSkillBuilding)

I haven't tried aging my sim into a YA since I removed that mod, I'll try it now and see if it works.

Edit: Ok, I tested this again and I am able to force my sim into being a YA with the temporal adjuster. But I can't force grow up when he is a teen, he still does the spin but nothing else happens.
