SimTropolis is just now having its annual award ceremonies called The Trixies.  In its fifth now going on sixth year, the fansite is predominantly about SimCity, but they also recognize The Sims II as well.  The two winners this year are  ___Idiotbox for Best Sims Diary for Agrestic and Redmist for  Most Valuable Sims II Contributor; he did a Sim Diary called  Simsbourg. I won one last year for Best Educational Sim Diary with an SD called Getting Started in Driftwood .  I'd like to think of us as SimMissionaries out in SimCity land.  Congratulations over here to both of them!

My latest project in a lot that I've been working on for a long time is to create a long passenger ramp to lead to a foundation.  I've tried it by using a foundation and by using a terrain and combinations of the two. When I've  tried to create the ramp through a foundation, I couldn't make a smooth incline.  When I try making one through a terrain I couldn't make a smooth link to a foundation.  Ideas?  Thanks!

I'm really not sure where to put this thread, b/c I don't know if I am asking for something new or something already made or a part of the game.  Anyway...  I've played The Sims 2 for about a year and I have some ideas for a house and lot that I want for one of my families. However I have never built a house fr scratch before. When I download there are features from several lots and buildings that I would like to see in the lot for my family. What type of mechanisms are there to copy either buildings, features of buildings, or lot & land properties & attributes to add and or combine them to a new lot?
