Just in case... you don't have hacks preventing some of these interactions, do you?
Cause some are so annoying I've added hacks to my game just to get rid of them...

It's the selectable ones that have the double beds, actually. And the unselected ones come and sleep on these at all hours, except when they're already occupied. I do leave the doors unlocked though. I'll lock the doors from now on, to keep them out. I sure had no idea that double beds would be so attractive!!

The problem is that it's the unselected dormie sims that are doing it. I only started using the 'cat' (from Simlogical I want to say, but not sure) to select and play a couple of dormie sims, apart from the controllable ones. But I believe the sleeping thing started before that. It was what attracted my attention since I'd never seen it before, cause they usually went to their individual rooms and stood there (for sleeping, etc. and were only visible in buy/build mode).
I keep thinking it might have started with my using the sim blender (the potted plant) cause the times sort of coincide.
I normally use only one maxis bed to replace the single bed the rooms come with (and only on those I control), it's the cheapest double bed (got lots of recolors for it, can't remember the name right now). I used to put in the lizzlove waterbed but it was so much trouble I had to stop. Even with the attraction way down I couldn't get them to do anything else.

All right, Thanks rwillis and ancienthighway for the ideas. I'll try to catch them at it to see if there is a pattern they're following. When I get something I'll post it here.

It's something that's been happening lately in my game... I change the beds of my uni sims (usually for double beds) but lately the dormies seem to be using them to sleep, something I never saw them do before. And I use maxis beds, not custom so it's not that I'm using cc beds or anything.
Has anybody seen that before? I tried searching this topic to see if somebody had posted, but no luck... I keep wondering what could cause this. I've added some cc, but no hacks lately. I have all exps except Pets and AL (but I do have M & G), and I use Inteen.

Actually, nothing except Inteen and a few of the no looking at snow or rain ones... but I'll try the no visitors allowed, cause it's driving me bonkers!

Based on how I normally play...  I'd be ready to: get a house, get a job, get pregnant, get married, get pregnant, get pregnant, get pregnant (you get the point), if there's time, cheat a little, get caught cheating, makeup with hubby, get pregnant, get pregnant, become elder, meet the GR... be brought back to life, cheat some more, and so on and so forth!

Ok, so I'm playing Veronaville after installing FT and M&G... And I am starting on the Consort and Regan Capp lot, but now everybody that they've ever met is calling on them at every hour of the day or night! And I mean any hour... 1 am, 7 am, etc. It is officially the most annoying thing I've ever encountered so far. And they're so sneaky about it, they keep waking the whole household (2 adults,3 kids). I'm just deleting them as they come with moveobjects on, but I can't play on fast forward cause I need to keep watch for the nosy neighbors.
Any suggestions?

God! I was laughing so hard I was out of breath... . That was good, I actually won't send Don to comm lots cause of the riots I expect will break out, see I kept the woohoo with 20 sims aspiration, (he is now in his 20+ sim) so everywhere I send him he'll bump into at least one of them and I just don't think I'll be able to manage... Maybe I'll just send him into one and just keep my trigger finger ready for the action!!!
Now he has a want I had never seen before: woohoo with 10 service sims (he is up to 4 I think, so I'll have to work on that one a bit)

I did update all hacks for FT, but since I also have Mansions & Gardens I was adviced to update again for AL... I'm guessing that having used for FT first, (I had up to BV then installed Mansions, and then Free Time) when in fact needed the AL updates (especially Inteen) might have messed something up with Luis.. I don't have any custom careers (bad experience in the past).

I don't know if I will be able to generate the error log, cause I moved the whole family out of the house they were in, and haven't been able to move them back to any lot since. The lot was not even letting me in during build mode. So I finally bulldozed it. I tried summoning all of them to the Una lot but every time it's Luis's turn the game crashes. And any way, as soon as I have them there, they want to leave.

One question though, once I have one of them out, since they don't have a home lot, how can I make them buy a home from Una's place? (last time I made one of them selectable but they couldn't use the phone or computer at all).

Edit. I was just at the simbology page and a message mentions the teleporter cat from simlogical (I forgot I had that too!) and there's an option to move in... I'll try that and see if I can dismember the family and get some of the Aspir to get a new home.... I'll report back with results from tonight.... Luis is out of luck...

New Edit! Yeah, I was able to dismember the family and Victor, wife and child are now in a lot and I can play no problem. I just haven't tried to go back and fish Luis out. Maybe when I have some time to spend restarting the game if it starts crashing again... Their pic is still in the list waiting for a home in neighborhood view, though.

If the option for break up doesn't show, you could always have one get caught cheating, and that may help drive them apart...

Actually no, they came with Desiderata, and I just started to play the neighborhood (installed FT last Thursday). So I haven't had a chance to even use CAS. And the first family I played was the girl Una (can't remember her first name) and noticed she had family with the Aspir and she seems to have high relationships with that family. The last thing I tried last night was summoning but got stuck at Luis (I believe that'st the dad's name). My plan for later today is to try and summon the rest of the family away and leave the dad out altogether... but that is just until I can figure out what is wrong with him. 
I just read about the stuck sim in a comm lot, maybe I'll try some of the advice there, maybe it'll unstuck him.

Hi,
I mentioned this in another thread, but it's getting very annoying. I began playing the Desiderata with the Una character and it seems her dad lives in the Aspir lot. I made her call dad, and at that point the game crashed. Ok, so I restarted and tried directly with the Aspir... and crashed again. So I moved them out of the lot, and tried moving them back but crashed again. I tried moving them to a new lot (downloaded one) and crashed again. A pattern was emerging...
I didn't know if it would work but tried summoning them one at a time from the Una lot. It was working... but when the dad's turn came, the game crashed...
What would be causing this? Should I let them stay in Sim Limbo forever to avoid crashing the game? I'd try to delete them but since they have family still in town I don't know what that would do...

Ok, now I'm confused...I had up to bon voyage, and at that point installed Mansions & Gardens...  (the game behaved like I was adding a new EP not an SP). Then I installed Free Time... so now I want to know if I upgrade mods/hacks to FT or AL. At first I upgraded for FT, but the way the game is behaving, I'm guessing AL mods might be needed instead.

For example, I installed the Ottomas family in Desiderata and played like for a week in game but nobody aged at all. Also one family there, the Aspir, makes my game crash.

So I come to the masters  for their advice... please!!

I was having sort of the same problem, the school bus came by every morning for Ripp Grunt, and he was ready to graduate from college. It kept saying that because he was missing school, his grades would drop, but as far as I saw his GPA didn't go down. It was very annoying, because I had to make sure he didn't get on it. Finally he finished the last semester and I sent him right back to Strangetown, cause the bus kept coming!
And yes it started after I installed BV Inteenimater. Now I'm up to FT Inteenimater, I'll see if anything else acts up...
