1  Simmers' Paradise / Mods & Careers / Hack to Remove Spectral Cat Auras on: February 28, 2015, 06:35:42 pm
I recently started playing The Sims 2 again.  The auras around spectral cats - especially the stink-cloud effect around the evil witch cat - drives me nuts.  Is it possible to get rid of the auras?

I have all EPs/SPs (from discs).

Thank you!

I was afraid of that but thought I'd ask anyway. Grin

In my game, I have a patio covered with a roof -- and snow *still* accumulates on everything under it!  Stupid  Would it be a huge hassle to create a mod to prevent this?  I have all EPs/SPs.  Thanks!

I'm so glad you're looking into this, Squinge! Cheerleader  With Carrigon's mod in, I had a Sim start a campfire.  The cat, which wasn't due to have her babies for another three days, gave birth immediately!  So I exited without saving and this time, did not have my Sims start a campfire.  The cat then gave birth normally. I'd like to second this request.  I'd love to see the burglar attacked by bees or the evil witch's servant.  Grin

Silly EAxis.  Ah, well.  Thanks much for looking into it anyway. Cheesy

True.  Never thought of it that way, lol.

Cool!  Thanks! Cheesy  On sort of the same subject, I think it's rather annoying one of my Sims is getting fat -- when she has to walk up three flights of stairs to get to her room.  But I'm not sure how realistic it would be for her to gain fitness from it, unlike going for walks.  What do you think?

ETA:  Forgot to mention -- I have all EPs/SPs.

Can check that one for compatibility and get back to you on that one.

Thanks!  I'd appreciate that.

How does the Feed Baby Female Only autonomous one work in AL?

I've used the userstartup.cheat for this before.  Once you reach the 10-member limit, you cannot try for a baby or adopt a stray pet.  The only way I was able to get the "try for baby" option was Jordi's lotfullofsims mod, which apparently does not work with AL.  (You can still adopt a stray pet with Inge's teleporter.)
