Second, SORRY! I didn't include the CC as I meant to do. I personally hate having to trawl around the internet searching for the custom content required, and I had every intention of including it with this lot.

I have added a new file containing both lot and CC. If you just want the structure, you can still take the CLEAN file, but I believe I have now got all the pretties in the WithCC file.

Coho Cottage (Basegame)

This little red cottage is based on house requests by Jersey441. The outside of the house is from her most recent request (see pic below), but I have altered the floorplan, with her designs in mind, to make a convenient layout with space for the family. The house is unpretentious, but will accomodate four comfortably, and six if they don't mind snuggling up.

Description:

The house is decorated in reds and light woods, with white accents. The kitchen contains a fridge, stove, sink and cabinets. Otherwise, the house is unfurnished apart from a combustion stove, phone and some basic lighting.

The garden contains a no-care shrubbery, with room for gardeners to express themselves. A front porch, surrounded by flowering bushes, welcomes visitors.

The entry door opens onto a parlour, warmed by the pot-belly stove. A door leads into the hall. On one side of the hall is the master bedroom and bathroom; on the other are the stairs. Straight ahead, archways lead into a generous country kitchen and into the family dining room, which boasts a bay window. The kitchen door opens onto a yard with space for swings or a vegie patch.

In the attic, two bedrooms share the landing with a dormer bathroom. Each room is large enough for two single beds if required, and knocking out one wall would open up the landing space for a sitting area.

Notes:

The stairs are built using a dummy level, so it will take an extra click to change floors.

If the price is steep for starting families, sell the potbelly, or use cheaper kitchen counters. But you probably have custom furniture that will cost less than the Maxis stuff anyway.

Description:
Kittenwitten Cottage is a restful family retreat. The request thread is here: http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=51870.

Priced at $74, 919, on a 3x2 lot, the house is fully furnished including alarms, phones, computer and skill objects.
The house has three big bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite includes a full bathroom and a dressing room. The second bedroom is set up as a nursery.

Downstairs, the foyer leads into a formal lounge, with access to the dining room. The dining room opens onto the back deck overlooking the garden.
From the front entry, a hall leads to the service areas, including a laundry room (converted to a study), door to the side patio, and the oversized kitchen and family meals area.

The landscaped garden is mostly low-care, but does contain some flowers and shrubs that will need to be looked after.

Notes for Players:

The floor plan is pretty close to Kittenwitten's example, except that I have substituted a patio for the garage. I also put a wall between the kitchen/dining areas, as I could not place diagonal benchtops as in the plan.

Kittenwitten asked for grey and blue, and the colouring follows that theme inside and out.

hello!

This house was requested by Phug Lady. It's a big family residence, fully furnished with luxurious fittings. The colour scheme is green and tan, with white accents.

There is a double garage with internal access (NOTE - I don't have NL, so you will need to add your own driveway and garage doors if you want them).

The garden is fenced and landscaped. Formal ponds and flowers lead to the main entrance, with a gate to the low-care shrubbery down one side of the house. The shrubbery opens out onto the large back garden, with olympic sized pool, swings and patio for entertaining.

Indoors is an office and large formal entertaining area. The kitchen separates this from the family areas. A big wet room, suitable for craft or laundry, opens onto the long side of the house. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms open off the family room.

The master suite is secluded from the other bedrooms, beyond the formal lounge, and includes a walk-in dressing room and a glamourous bathroom with spa. There is plenty of space for a crib, so you won't have to run across the house if baby wakes in the night!

Alarms and phone are fitted. Most of the skill items are also present. The general furniture is by Maxis, to keep things simple.

I have added more pictures than usual this time, so you see a couple of boutique shots as well as the floor plan.

The house has not been playtested, so please do report if anything doesn't work, and I will do my best to fix it.

Kittenwitten, I did the best I could with what I had. It's a shingled house in dark brown, which may not be easy to see in the photo size you have above. Maxis provided exactly that wallpaper, so I used it.

The white accents around the balcony are lovely, and I would have included them if I could, but with the base game, I don't have connecting arches, so it wasn't possible. I did my best with white columns.

You can change the external wallcoverings to something you think looks closer, if you like. Something with a white moulding at the base would probably work, but it wouldn't be shingles, as the real house is.

By the way, I saw your request - it's a pretty house. Has someone offered to do it for you?

This house was requested by jersey441, who provided the plan for the ground floor.

It is suitable for a starting family, but comes unfurnished and without wallpaper, as per request. The floors and the outside are finished.

The price is $18, 747, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lot is small, with minimal landscaping. The house has a full ground floor and the master suite in the loft. The upstairs bathroom has no window, so play with the lights on in that room. The rest of the attic has natural light.

It was created with the base game only, but I believe it is weatherproof.

This is a large house, with luxury furnishings. It is taken from this design:

As per request (and because I don't have NL), the garage area is a big empty space with sliding doors - good for a rec room. To the best of my knowledge, the driveway space and one half of the building are large enough to be converted into a working garage. This would park one car inside, plus probably two more on the driveways. The garage is a separate building, with side access to the house.

The house has three bedrooms (all enormous), sunroom, family room with fireplace, spacious library, formal lounge and dining. Service areas include a laundry, downstairs toilet, kitchen and breakfast nook. There is a patio at the back.

The house is mostly furnished, in luxurious style, but with plenty of scope for redecorating. Believe me, there is room for whatever furniture you like to add!
The master suite includes a spa and ensuite. Phone and alarm systems are in place.
