Well, I was trying to do some roof recolors today and I wanted to see how they looked so I made this house for testing purposes...I obviously liked the way the house came out so, here it is!

Extract it using a program like ALZip or WinRAR. (If you don't have an extracting tool, I provided links for you to download one. I suggest ALZip.)

Right click my file and choose "extract to desktop". When the file shows up, double click it and it installs into your game. You may get an error message about not having the right expansion packs installed in your game. Make sure you have all of them in the list where I wrote about the house or it will not load or work. If you do have all the expansions, but you still get the error, I suggest trying out the Clean Installer. Make sure you read about how to use it!

I know that it is not pictured, but I did use a door from pets. I changed that when I put the house in my real game and decorated it. The style wasn't working for me.

Goodness, I had so much fun putting this house together. Unfortunately, I can't share my furnished version, but I really hope you have a blast decorating and using your imagination! Anyhow, this is a home by Audrey Matlock and it's located in West Shokan, New York. It's gorgeous and since we probably can't afford it, at least our simmies can!

This is the first in my new Cottage Living series. It's a quaint little home that has great playability. The home is furnished except for the 2nd bedroom...I never know what gender to make it for so it's easier for you to just repaint and decorate!

Sorry to say that I have all Ep's installed and really don't pay attention to what I use as far as furnishing the house. I know that Nightlife is definately required because of the garage and that's about it. I'd just say that the others are probably necessary because I might have used a painting or light from a different EP.
