1  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Sims Sleeping in the Wrong Clothes on: August 09, 2009, 08:37:05 pm
I don't have any sleep hacks, but yeah, the sims are insane.  Huh, I didn't realize they did that.  It just was driving me crazy that they'd sleep with shoes on, and I started using hacks around that time, so I was really worried that something got snafu'd.

O, Mighty Squinge, can you fix this pretty please?

I have a very weird problem with my sims.  They keep sleeping in the wrong clothes, like she'll go to bed in her formal outfit or her athletic outfit.  The only way she goes to bed in her proper nightclothes is if I make her change into her nightclothes first.  I've planned her outfit several times, changed it, but she still keeps going to bed in the wrong clothes.  It's so weird to see high heels poking through the blankets.

The IndieStone mod and the awesome mod will prevent Sims from moving away.  The new patch also keeps sims you've played with from moving away.

Buffy looks really good, but Angel doesn't look quite right.

I didn't have any mods installed.

It's the Sims 3, thus why I put it in the Sims 3 help section.  In the Sims 2, all I'd have to do was put move_objects on on, and then I could delete them.  In the Sims 3, whenever I try that, it gives me a "this object cannot be deleted" error.  As I said, the aunt and grandma would try to feed the baby in the high chair at the same time, and the grandma would put the bottle down, and I couldn't do anything with it.

I can't click on the bottles, can't pick them up.  The baby lived with his parents, grandparents, aunt, and uncle.  The aunt would feed him, and then the grandmother would try to feed the baby at the same time.

Grandma would put the bottle on the floor, using moveobjects on, it just told me that the baby bottle couldn't be deleted.

I have a problem.  I have all these stupid baby bottles lying on the ground, but I can't delete them (even with moveobjects on), so they're just piling around.  How do I get rid of them.

I did save the family as two different files, but they don't coexist which sucks.  My sims want five grandchildren, but their three daughters who are all married only have two children between them, how can I play the other families without losing my sims' wishes?

I figured it out finally.  I changed them to the active family, but I saved it as another file so now I have a file with both the original family and her with her new husband. Smiley
11  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Graduation on: June 19, 2009, 06:29:16 pm
Yes, I've clicked on my teen sims to see if there's a pie menu.  All of my teens have had good grades, and I've clicked on the building for some kind of option.  Then I googled to see if there was something about it, but I couldn't find anything that wasn't related to Sims 2 University.

I've raised several Sims through teenhood, but I never got that option, and I can't figure out how they graduate.  It's even harder since there are no memories.

My sims with teenagers keep getting a want to see their children graduate.  I've raised several sims through teenagers, but I can't figure out how to get my sims to graduate.  Any help?

If you click on the career tab, you can click on a little arrow that sends your sim to work.  I assume they take a taxi, but if you want you can buy a car or a bike.

I have a young adult sim who lives with her parents and five siblings (her parents' lifetime wishes were to raise five babies to teens, and ended up with one single birth, a set of triplets, and a set of twins).  I want to move her out to start her own life with her sweetie, but I don't want to lose her family.

I separated a few of my sims from their families, and their families completely disappeared.  I don't want to lose her family, but I want her out of her crowded house.  How do I do this?
15  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Sims3 first expansion pack on: June 10, 2009, 12:22:24 pm
You have to have an expansion with the Sims 3, it isn't even half a game.  The objects, clothing styles, and hairstyles are severely limited.  The only way currently to expand on Sims 3 is to download from the Sims 3 store where they want $20 for a set of 45 objects.  $20!  You could buy an entire expansion pack for the Sims 2 with that much.  I don't go to paysites because as I'm on a limited budget, I can't afford paysites, and because of the paysites, now EA has become the biggest and most expensive of all of them.

I hope they do something quickly about the Sims 3, it's really rather boring.
