1  Simmers' Paradise / Objects & Recolors / I'm making the Home Alone House, But..... on: July 24, 2010, 06:51:47 pm
I've been away for a while. But I am back and currently making the home alone house from the movie (avid fan of that movie) My problem is that I've built a great copy of the House (found plans)But I don't have the big windows for the house, The small roof over the front door and the small brick fence in the front. I hate having it half done. If someone could help me I would be absolutely greatful. I have provided a link to the site that has pics....Once I'm done I will share it......Thanks

Throw the mods out with no name attached and it will get passed around so much it will be hard to find out where it came from.I can't believe they would not want us to tear sims 3 apart like so many people have done with sims 2. Do you really think that sims 2 would have been so popular without all the CC and mods, all the sims forums Like this one? I don't. I would have left sims 2 on the shelf and not have purchased any of the EP's or stuff packs If it wasn't for the CC or the mods. I would have been bored with this Game along time ago. EA has to know they would stand to lose an awful lot of business if they went that route. They have to know that these sites and all the creators keep their sales up. They can't be that stupid. Can they?

I'll be the party pooper,  I hate the new game. Its the sims 1 with a few extra things. I wasted my money!
7  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / The sims 3, What do you think? on: June 02, 2009, 01:12:04 pm
Sorry EA, I hate it. My opinion
        Negatives
The graphics are like Sims 1.
You move in one family, Then go back to move in another, the family moved in prior disapears.(nope actually You can.My nephew told me, just not in the same place I guess)OOPS Have to check again.
Moving about is a pain.)
NO UNDIES!!!!!
Then tried to register the game and Couldn't!! (it was my fault its registered.)
No cheat codes really, I really liked the family funds code. Not there!!! (kaching and motherlode work)
You can turn the graphics up, it looks a little better. but the game lags very bad.
don't like placing prebuilt lots either, can only put them on the empty lots they put down and only lots that are same size or bigger, if you place it on a lot that is bigger you have a lot of waste. if you place it on the same size you can't rotate if needed
        Positives
I like the customizing, the color changing is cool.
Moving furniture is easier.
I like going to visit people that parts cool, but I would like to visit the people I created with the people I created.
Like that you don't have to buy clothes, you can get all clothes from the dressers, that will eliminate losing outfits when you move.

                          Solutions
Hopefully the great sims 2 creators on the web can make this game more fun by .
Making more lifelike skins and clothing.
Putting UNDIES back.
getting rid of the silly crap, by making mods.

As of now I rate it -wasted my money
I like Sims 2 Better

8  Welcome to insimenator.org / Rules, News & Announcements / Re: We can haz new site NAO? on: December 07, 2008, 02:38:13 pm
Ok, stupid question time, I am glad that pescado reopened this site for us, But I can't help wondering is this safe for pescado? I mean doesn't that moron Walt own all this, can't he make an issue of this? Pirating pay sites is one thing(Love PMBD) But this is a whole website. Won't The man who shall remain Moron make a big deal about this? I don't want to see pescado(our new found hero) get in trouble for us.

Love MATY as well!
9  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / I have a Issue? on: September 21, 2008, 09:25:48 am
Not sure if this goes here or in the insimenator issues. But I increased the magic on a person in a apartment, gave her all the magic items in inventory including the voodoo doll. All of a sudden she couldn't use the phone or make food or pick up dishes, she began to jump in different directions. So I closed the game and went back in, everything worked fine but now the game is running a little faster, their walking faster, time is moving faster. I even went to a different neighborhood its still doing it.

any Idea's on how to slow them back down?

How can you "choose" to believe in something? You either do or you don't.

If you were to consciously choose to believe in something wouldn't that mean that you don't believe in it at all but just wish that it were true?

Also, that seems to be a very strange reason to become an atheist. I mean, I know people who don't agree with all of the rules of their specific religion but they just ignore those rules.
I'm an atheist. Not because I didn't like any part of a religion, I'm an atheist because I find all religions fanciful and unbelievable; not to mention the mountain of evidence that contradicts them (I'm a scientist, I can't ignore the evidence!).

So, in conclusion, I don't think that anyone chooses to believe in anything. Belief isn't a choice, you choose a religion (or lack thereof) based upon your belief.

I am into science as well. Without telling what I do for a living, I deal with it day to day, put it that way. I feel that some people do choose in what to believe from politics to religion. They make the choice based on what they agree with. if they agree with it spiritually or (as in your case scientifically)you review the evidence and choose to believe that that science proved that there was no God. But some people make choice's completely based on how they want to live, not based on what they believe. Like it was a hard struggle for me, because of my huge science background, You are absolutely right about that huge amount of evidence that say there is no God. But I choose to ignore that because my belief is stronger, my faith is stronger. That's why I said be true to yourself and not a hypocrite. Now understand I'm not saying I disagree with you I'm just saying that these situations have happened, right or wrong. People make decisions purely based on life needs sometimes and not what they believe.

And CJ, Thats why I think she's a hypocrite, She told me that wiccans worship the earth and that like the animals, no one has the same mate. I just believe what she said because he bought it. But you could see its killing him. I really know absolulely nothing about wiccans,I just saw the pain someone used to cause pain with it and made my opinion based on that. But man, I've definitely learned some here about it . I would tell him but she's got him brained washed. Someday his eyes will open and maybe he will take a walk.

At first I wasn't going to post, but after spending time reading all the post I wanted to say WOW!!  I never seen so much info in one spot. Some I agree with, Some I don't. Being a christian myself and being around a little while I've seen people use religions of all sorts to accommidate their world. I know a women who claims to be a wiccan, so she can cheat on her husband. I know an atheist who choose not to believe in God only because He doesn't want the rules or the belief that his actions are a sin (according to the bible and some religions). But there are a lot of people who decide as they get up in years that now is the time I better start believing. I probably won't be around when most of you grow old ,But I would be interested on how many of you change your opinion when death nears.  But like I've said to him if he's right we all die, nothing happens but eternal nothingness, But if he's wrong OUCH. If I follow his belief theres a chance I could burn or nothing. I would rather be safe then sorry and yes that maybe a wrong way to put it. But if your talking to a nonbeliever you have to put it in a way they can see. By the way that atheist had his daughter baptised. I guess when it comes to somethings it is better to be safe then sorry. I guess, Always be true to yourself and don't be a hypocrite. World has way too many all ready. just my opinion
13  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Apartment life problem. Driving me crazy! on: September 07, 2008, 07:07:23 am
After staying up late and many painstaking hours of going through my downloads, I found the problem it was the inteen hacks. Since I don't have Freetime I haven't updated in a while,I still use insim 2.7.But problem solved, Thank's for your Idea's and your help. Now I can be as annoying in an apartment as I am on here! LOL
14  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Apartment life problem. Driving me crazy! on: September 06, 2008, 12:44:43 pm
I moved the downloads folder and I went to the config file, the only thing there was broadcast, video capture and user props. I remember putting a  start cheat somewhere, It was like the cheats that you can use in the drop down, I just set it up to work right off when the game starts up. but I can't remember where I put it. But when I took out the downloads folder started the game, I could make a person put them in a apartment, but none of the stuff in buy mode would show up you just placed empty squares and they wouldn't even place and none of the famlies were there still, I can't even save the game. man, did I make a mistake buying AL
15  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Apartment life problem. Driving me crazy! on: September 06, 2008, 09:46:13 am
I start the game, everything is fine, then I make a person put him or her in a apartment it either crashes while loading or after I play and then go some where and then come back, while loading it crashes. Then when I restart the game all the families that were on the select bar on the bottom are gone. the person I was playing is gone and the apartment they were in is empty.
I've been going through the hacks I have and removing them one by one. I don't have Freetime,Akea or teen stuff, I have everything else. I was wondering if anyone heard of the same problem anywhere to save me time digging through hacks or if you know how to fix it. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it,just to see if it was a loading problem. Not it.          ,Thanks for any help
