Hallo there,

Alrighty, first question is, which I know must sound stupid but.. How do you put up a cieling? I've been trying to figure it out and I feel both stupid and frustrated at not being able to. Every time I use the ceiling that I found in the game itself, this white ceiling tile, I go to put it on, it instead puts itself on the floor. UGH!

I'd appreciate some help. Thank you!

Second thing..

I can't kill any sims! My sims were living in their apartment building, so I was trying to kill one of the neighbors. This was sort of part of a story thing I was doing.. but they won't die. None of the hacks I'm using will kill them. And they are updated to AL. Its frustrating. I seem to only beable to kill sims that are directly controlled by me. Otherwise no.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hallo there,

Now I know I saw this problem somewhere, but I've looked and I've looked and I can't find the thread on it. And since I now have a headache, I figured I'd post about it.

Basically whenever I use the "walk to" or "fly to" command, when I get to the lot, my game goes right into build mode and cannot, and won't go into live mode. And I have no idea what's causing the problem. And I've had it since BV. I just ignored it and used cars, but I actually -want- to fly to places.

And I'm sorry if this is posted somewhere. I've looked and looked and I just can't seem to find it and I feel stupid for not being able to.

Does anyone know what the problem my be? And yes, every ep I have ( I have them all) are patched. And I've cut down considerably on my hacks lately.

Though I can give a list if necessary, I've gotten very organized lately too

I know, if its not one thing its another with my game. I swear.

This has been going on for a while now. And its driving me so completely crazy I can't take it anymore. For some reason. Every.. well. A picture is worth a thousand words. So I'll post it and perhaps someone can tell me how to make it stop?

Basically every time I pass my mouse over a sink. It does that! I don't know why.

Alright.. So I searched around a good deal trying to find the answer to this.. I will admit stupid question. But I can't see where it might be so.. I have a question.

I now have all the EP's. Was I supposed to download every patch for every EP and install them all? Cause if so.. its no wonder my game has gone up in a flaming ball of nonsense twice on me already...cause I didn't!

So that's my question. Are you supposed to patch for EVERY ep that you have, or just patch the most recent one you have?

So I installed some new things yesterday and when I went to go play my game. Loading up my medieval hood.

The whole hood was flashing red. Literally RED. I don't know what to do about it.

I removed the new stuff I put. But no change. I did a hack conflict search and nothings messing with it. I just don't know what's causing it.

If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Alright for the past.. week or so, my bodyshop loads black.

Its completely black with little grey boxes all over it. I've removed recent things I've put into my downloads to no avail.

Can anyone help me? I'm at my wits end.

Yup, I'm back with yet ANOTHER game problem. I swear I want to kick this game sometimes. Bah. Anwyay to the problem, I decided I wanted to change the default skintones I have in my game, so I pulled out the ones I had, tried another, they were conflicting, I pulled those out, tried some Enlaya defaults and the skintones take on the men, but not the women. (I wrote my title wrong. Ugh)

Anyone know how I might rectify this? Its really frustrating.



Alrighty, new problems. I was trying to install the new season's patch, but there was something wrong, it told me I might have to reinstall Seasons. So I run the hackconflict utility, and that can't even run because I'm getting this weird error log. Can anyone help if you please? I just don't know what to do.

Hello yet again, It appears I've finally the answer to why my game has been having such issues lately, looks like a hack I downloaded within the past week or so has corrupted my entire game. I can't even explain the madness when I attempted to play it after pulling out all my hacks, so my question would be.

How do I save what I can? Basically I have a backup of my favorite neighborhood that was saved from SimPe because I was editing a sim, so I'm happy to have that, I could use that couldn't I? And all my sims.. how do I save them? I cannot even imagine the losses... ugh.

My downloads I figure I will just.. pull out the meshes, hair and makeup and clothing recolours and the rest I guess can go to perdition. I'd have to start again though.

So is anyone able to help me to save what I can from my sadly messed up game?

*sighs* I swear there's constantly something wrong with my game, in this particular case its as the title says. I start the game up, it begins to load, it usually takes about 10 min.s or so to load. When it just finishes loading up, it suddenly just closes and disappears from my screen as if it shut itself down.

Anyone know what might be causing the problem? I haven't found anything in the forums that help

Alright, its pretty much the same as my title says. It seems every other day I've something wrong with my game but eh.. what can you do.

Basically Dora Ottmas walked past my selfsim's house and I had made her nanny selectable and had her clipping the shrubs, I turn to look at who said a greeting to the nanny and... it was Dora Ottmas with a completely black covered body. I've included a photo to show.

I am terribly sorry if this is answered elsewhere. I looked through the threads of the murals I downloaded to see if they mentioned where the murals were located and nothing. I'm more then a bit frustrated, I can't find any of the gorgeous murals that I've downloaded, does anyone have any clue as to where they might be? I thought perhaps decorations and paintings, but no.. only one there.

So I thought about it and I figured I would upload my pretty Tazia. She's quite adorable and admittedly different then most of the sims I make. I crank them out like they are gumballs sometimes hehe.

She has yet to reproduce in my game as of yet, though she's engaged so its only a matter of time, so I don't know what sort of children she will produce. But the sims I make generally make pretty babies so there's that.

And yup, that's basically what's going on every time I try to build a building or decorate on an already exsisting lot. After a certain amount of time my game goes blue screen and crashes. I was trying to make a school and hospital for a story of mine and boom, crashed. Its getting to the point that I don't even want to bother trying to decorate at all.

*sighs*


Anyone know what might be the issue? I searched through the forum and I wasn't able to find something that related to my issue. So if there is something already answered relating to this, I apologize for posting it yet again.

Sadly its just as my title says. I'm sorry if this is covered elsewhere but after a good bit of searching for a good bit of the morning, I still couldn't find anything that referred to my situation.


Basically, bodyshop will not load. At all. I don't get an error message, nothing. Just won't load at all. I double click, my little leaf floats around for a second as if it wasn't to load and then it goes back to a full leaf and nothing. I checked my taskmanager and I see it gets up to 20,560K (I think that's memory or something) And then it suddenly stops and shuts down. And nothing.

Might anyone beable to help me? I would most appreciate it. I need to clean out my downloads folder
