Having babies at home is quite real. lol!  I've had two planned homebirths and would never voluntarily go back to a hospital to birth again.  Shudder.   Grin

The fact is, those who feel like you all do are in the minority.  If EA is smart, they will stick to what the majority wants.  After all, it is their livelihood.  Why can't one of you come up with a realistic, real life simulation game with all the horrors you can want?  As a side not, I like Sims the way it is.

And contrary to what some think, (this may be shocking) kids/teens are not all inundated with murder and mayhem at a young age.  I've known thousands who haven't been.

You've created such a handsome sim.  I like him better than the original. Wink

I think this looks good.  For some reason, the pictures are really tiny on my PC, so I can't really see what's what.  But it does sound like something I have been looking for.  Thanks for sharing!

Yep, I am sure that's what it is.  I just can't figure out what I have done wrong.  I wonder if I built it too big, or with too much stuff?  It is 5 apartments on 3 floors.  Also on the third floor is a common area with a bowling lane, game tables, and some gym equipment. On the second floor is a very small dance club with a DJ booth and a karaoke machine. Outside, there is a playground and a pool.

Could it just be too much?

I have been playing AL and have loved it, but when I built my own apartments, I get jump bug issues too.  With mine, they stand in one spot and just jump around.  They won't autonomously do anything for themselves and just stand there until they die. I used all maxis stuff.

Didn't have any problems playing the Maxis lots.  A bummer since i spent three days on this apartment lot.
10  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Have you built an apartment? on: October 11, 2008, 12:03:04 am
~simaholic--you can rent the apartment furnished.  Have boolProp on and, I can't remember exactly which, either shift click on the door or ctrl click.  In my game it is an option all the time.  Not sure if it is from the Insim or what, but I have it without boolProp on.
11  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Religious faith versus Non-conformist faith and the Sims 2 on: September 04, 2008, 09:45:21 pm
Actually, Christianity was around long before the birth of Christ.  It is an erroneous thought that it only began then.
12  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / FreeTime Patch is Out! *EA removed patch from site* on: April 09, 2008, 08:30:51 pm
Wanna hear something really stupid?  I always back up before doing anything at all with my game.  Well, I was very distracted and not thinking and installed the patch without backing up.  All my custom content is really funky looking now with what looks like writing and weird patterns.  Ugh.  Why wasn't I thinking?
13  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Jump Bug With Preparing Food on: March 12, 2008, 11:18:24 pm
Well, I tried something different.  I had one of my Sims go to serve chicken soup. Then, as she reached in to take the ingredients out, I canceled the action.  She then set the ingredients down and they didn't disapear, nor did she "jump" out of the action.  Then I had her finish preparing the meal and she did.  Odd, but it worked.

Thanks for trying to help.

15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Jump Bug With Preparing Food on: March 11, 2008, 08:44:24 pm
Opps, I need to clarify, my Sims go to prepare the food item, but jump out of the action after they open the fridge and reach in.
