Very beautiful, adorable sim! Nice work as usual -- adding her to my collective now (I may have to create a whole neighborhood just for your sims)

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Sims / Cute Monica

She's absolutely adorable! Just one general question: I have a bunch of babies and children in my Sim Bin. Short of creating parents for them, is there any way to get them into the game itself? I've created an orphanage in Pleasantview and would like to be able to add the children I have in my Sim Bin to this lot.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Starter Townhouse

I have been designing houses in my game for a long time, but this is my first upload (my other houses are heavily packed with custom content from places I don't even know anymore). Features: - Fully Furnished - Ready to Move In
- Small 1x2 Lot
- Two Bedroom, Two Bath
Price: $19,053 All objects and recolors used are Maxis originals, except for the double bed (mesh by CTNutmegger of RSSS). First floor shower in picture not included. Note: For some strange reason, a few object recolors decided to tag along when I packaged the lot, even though they aren't used. I removed them from the SIMS2PACK file, but for some reason, a stair recolor by Numenor refuses to go away.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Sims / Bridgette
|

This is Bridgette. She is an Irish orphan girl looking for a home with a nice couple. Custom Content is as listed: The hair recolor by beemi is included; however, the required mesh is not. The mesh from XMSims is freely available here: http://www.xmsims.com/sims2/ehtm/hair/hair28.htmBridgette has been created using BV version of Body Shop, however, she should be usable with any version of Sims 2. Her genetics have taken me many hours to sculpt, and has been verified to look beautiful across all her stages of life. Please feel free to give me constructive criticism. Please do not upload to Exchange or any pay sites (regardless of whether the upload is offered for free or fee), and please give me due credit if she or her immediate children are uploaded anywhere else.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / New Problem
|
on: December 16, 2007, 02:25:47 am

It sounds like a power supply issue; that is, the power supply in your computer is not able to deliver the juice needed when you load something as processor- and graphic-intensive as TS2.
Another possible cause is if you've replaced the graphics card in that computer. Many cards these days require a separate connection to the power supply (they have a 4-pin Molex connector, just like the kind you see on hard drives). Forgetting to make this connection could cause this problem (although usually, forgetting to make this connection causes the computer to fail POST and it never boots up to begin with).

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Which one do you prefer : Cartoony or Realistic sim ?
|
on: December 15, 2007, 10:49:56 pm

The same can go to realistic sims, too. I'm not partial to the "shiny" looking ones, because it takes away the effect of the game to me. Besides, I already have an overactive imagination... seeing "realistic" people in a game scares all heck outta me, and I tend to start thinking "... what if this was for real?" whenever I see them... then it takes a turn for the worse, and I have nightmares about it sometimes. I pretty much agree with you there; except, for me, I don't have nightmares. I just feel really guilty about turning my computer off.
