1  Resident Creators / EP8 Mods / Re: No Cuddling Under Sheets - AL on: January 27, 2009, 09:09:02 pm
I have never actually seen sims do this.  When do they do this?   huh
2  Resident Creators / EP8 Mods / Re: More Family Members & Pets 12 - AL (UPDATED) on: January 17, 2009, 06:56:15 pm
This will really, really help for sims who want to breed pets.  I felt so restricted when I had 5 sims (one of whom was pregnant) and two dogs and wanted some puppies.  This mod will ease that up a bit.   cool
3  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Re: Fun gain when teaching toddlers on: January 17, 2009, 06:43:40 pm
I just found this.  Glad to hear it's compatable with AL.  Smiley  Just also wanted to say that I appreciate this, because it's always bugged me that sims gain fun from teaching commands to cats and dogs, but teaching their toddlers isn't fun.   huh  This mod makes the whole thing make more sense.  Thanks!
4  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Re: Go Out More Fun - Universal: 12-15-08 on: January 17, 2009, 06:36:23 pm
So...does this then affect both Go Out and Sneak Out?  or was Sneak Out already more fun?
5  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Toddler N Infant Booster Seat - Requested on: November 13, 2008, 09:13:44 pm
That's cool; I'll be using it for Todlers anyway.  And I like that it can get dirty - more realistic!  Smiley
6  Resident Creators / EP8 Mods / Sleepover enabled for children EP8 on: November 13, 2008, 04:07:41 pm
lol  Why wasn't it just like this from basegam?  Kids are the ones in real life who actually have sleepovers.

Does this behive function the same as the one at the Sims 2 Graveyard?
8  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Custom Objects & Recolors / Toddler N Infant Booster Seat - Requested on: November 13, 2008, 03:50:00 am
This is amazing!  What a wonderful idea.  Smiley  My kids in real life always used a booster on a regular chair.  We live in a small apartment and have no room for a highchair.  Wink

I see from your pics that infants can sit in it too.  Can they drink a bottle or do anything else while in it?

Also, does it get dirty and need to be cleaned?

Anyway, I'm totally looking forward to using this in game!

Can the scarecrow from Seasons be scanned?  That'd make a pretty decent sparring partner if so.
10  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misc. Mods and Careers / Auto Compost of Tending Garden Plants/Trees on: November 13, 2008, 02:56:45 am
Does this include tending non-seasons stuff?  Like trimming hedges, pulling weeds from puddles?
11  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misc. Mods and Careers / Animal Incest Mod << UPDATED: 01/09/2007 << on: November 13, 2008, 02:42:01 am
If the having puppies/kittens with close relatives isn't working, why not just make the part of the mod where relationship scores don't matter a separate mod?  At least for now.  That's the part I really want anyway.  Smiley
12  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Misc. Mods and Careers / Dig For Treasure Mod on: November 13, 2008, 02:28:42 am
Would it be at all possible to have the Bodyskill and fitness gain as a seprate hack?  I use JM Pescados' Macro -> Dig for stuff, so I don't really need another mod to make them keep digging, but I really, really love the idea of them gaining fitness and bodyskill from digging; I mean, why the heck not?  lol
13  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Nurse Babies New Italian Translation Available(6/26/06) on: October 14, 2008, 12:56:27 am
This is so great; I've been wanting this mod since the Sims 2 came out (but I didn't find it until today).  As a mother who breastfeeds her own children (first until he was 22 months, and the second is 20 months and still hapily nursing), I wished this was in the game as well.  It will add so much more realisim to my historical hoods!  Thank you so much.
14  Resident Creators / Mod Requests / A few useful potions? on: October 14, 2008, 12:31:39 am
I'm sorry; I didn't know about the limit on request (I guess I should read the rules before posting).  I posted late at night when I was tired (probably a bad idea).  As I said, I didn't mean to be annoying, and I certianly didn't mean to offend anyone.

I have all the EPs up to AL, by the way.
15  Resident Creators / Mod Requests / A few useful potions? on: October 13, 2008, 02:23:30 pm
Someone over in this thread: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,13343.0.html suggested that I post a request here, so here I am.  Smiley

I would really like to see these things in my game as buyable single-use objects with somewhat realistic pricing:

Sunblock - sim can stay in hot sun longer without sunburn
Suntan Oil - sim is more likely to tan in sun
Spray on Tan -sim uses it for an immediate sunnles tan
Aloe Vera Gel - cures or reduces the duration of sunburn
Calamine Lotion - cures or reduces the duration of poision ivy
Insect Repellent - reduces sim's chance of being attacked by bees

If this isn't the best place to request this, can someone please point me to somewhere better?  I'm not trying to annoy anyone, I just realy want this and have no clue how I would do it myself since my own modding skills are at the recolouring clothes/makeup lvl.
