Hi, welcome to InSim. What Joy said about finding the file name will work for either Sims 2 or 3. The mods for Sims 3 are (or should be) in Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Mods/Packages. I also recommend keeping sub-folders for your mods based on the mod type (as Joy said). It makes problem resolution much faster.

Me too, but that would take a heap of programming to replace the send away to school with somethink akin to world adventures, and there is no provision as yet (as in Sims 2) to choose which world a divided family is in to play.

It looks like Seasons will be introduced in November. I assume it will be like Sims 2 Seasons, at least I hope it will.

It's finally announced, looks like we get better vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches, zombies, and a new world. The vid is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BbSSWzNpVU a pre-order will include stuff from plants vs. zombies, so I guess that will be the next EP. Oh, and it looks like we maybe get magic (spells, potions, etc.) back. |
