Whilst wandering through the market yesterday I looked up (for some unknown reason) as I passed the SPAM cans and beheld for the first time (for me) a can of turkey SPAM. I felt like I had been stabbed by the purple spork of dooooooom. Is there no end to these attrocities?

I, too, couldn't see any updates for the cast yourself a chimney. However, the fireplace may or may not have one and may or may not require specific EPs or SP. You'll have to check Sims Resource for those, that seems to be where Pinecat's stuff is. Sorry I couldn't help. Also, they may need an update if they don't have one yet. You'd need to check with the creators on that.

Yeah. So far I've had success by opening the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder and deleting the contents, and also the resource file in Mods and the d3dx9_31.dll in the Program Files/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Game/Bin folder. Then, after applying the patch or doing the installation, opening the recycle bin and executing the restore all items function. Then, of course, I check for any updated mods that I am using and re-downloading and installing them. This doesn't seem to be quite as painful as a full reinstall of all the mods.
