31  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / Re: Best Looking In-Game Born Sims? on: February 06, 2009, 11:59:07 pm
This is a sim a posted earlier when she was just a toddler.

Her name is Gabriella, and she turned out much better than her siblings.

32  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: What action or Animation you hate the most in sims2? on: February 06, 2009, 11:39:02 pm
I hate making any member of the Goth household check their mail.
Why?
Because (and strangely, this is the ONLY lot this happens on) everyone who checks the mail carries the bills ALL the way to the back left corner of the lot.
Which makes no sense because that particular spot is nowhere near the mailbox.

They have plenty of space close to the mailbox to place the bills, but no, they feel they must walk entirely out of their way. And when I click the action again to stop it, they just keep strolling along. If I didn't want all of their belongings to be repossessed I'd just say to hell with the bills... Grin
33  A Safe Haven / General Discussion / Re: Songs that drive you crazy.. on: February 06, 2009, 11:28:57 pm
Hmmm... I have a LONG list of songs that annoy me.

-Anything by Nickelback. I just hate Chad Kroeger's (spelling?) voice. And their songs get overplayed so much on the radio, which is why I stick to my MP3 player.
-Anything by Daughtry, or any American Idol winner for that matter.
-RAP= retards attempting poetry
-That "Amadaeus" song
-BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY. my god. I can't listen to it in it's entirety because I will eventually have to punch someone.
-Katy Perry should just...drop off the face of the earth. EVERYONE is now a lesbian because of her.
-Gym Class Heroes cover of "Breakfast in America" by Supertramp. I think that's what the original is called.
-"Irreplaceable" and "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. Or Anything by her really...
-My Chemical Romance and all other bands like them
-Miley and the Jonas kids. Gah.

Should probably stop here before I write a novel!

Hehe, this is Micaela.
And her face got stuck that way for a while.
It started when she was just standing in her bedroom.
And it stayed that way until after she and her boyfriend, uh, you know...  rolleyes

And then, Hermione Granger stopped by one of my other lots and made this face upon arrival.

And ANOTHER sim stopped by and made the same face.

Apparently, Melinda Bennett didn't care too much for the current topic.

The paper girl walks around with her eyes shut.

Haha, I love watching this dance

"MUST I really dance with my wife?!"

Hehe, Nanny was a bit upset

Heh, thanks!

I feel like I should have known that  Grin

Hmm..
Well, I've been playing the Sims 2 since it came out, but I'm really just now starting to get involved on these forums, so what is "the exchange"?

Cause now I'd really like to make some Crumplebotton kids!
38  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: Funny sim words on: February 04, 2009, 11:45:00 pm
When you have two kids play "Mary Mack" in one part of it they say "tubin', tubin', tubin'" and that's all I can remember from that little chant now.

Cracks me up.
39  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: I have a question regarding "the summoner" on: February 04, 2009, 11:22:25 pm
Thanks for these suggestions!
When I started the game up earlier I went to the lot the baby belongs to and he was there.
I thought about checking the lot he belonged to while I was trying to think of different ways to get him home, but talked myself out of it, thinking it wouldn't work.

Hehe well thanks.
I had the same issue too and then one day I was just looking through all the files in the game and that's how I stumbled upon that.

And, you're welcome
41  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / Re: Mrs Crumplebottoms children!! on: February 04, 2009, 09:12:52 pm
I tried this idea and it didn't work out so well for me.

I moved a CAS male into a house and summoned Mrs. C to the lot but when I tried to get her to talk to him, or vice versa, they just stood in front of each other and didn't talk.

I used the temporal adjustor to set her age to adult, and then used the reproductive adjustor to get her pregnant with twins.

She gave birth to one baby, and the other one was, invisible I guess because I couldn't find her anywhere. Then after all that I deleted Mrs. C from the lot and then I tried to exit back to the neighborhood and the save, exit, and neighborhood buttons wouldn't work.

So, my Mrs. C experience didn't work so well  Grin

Okay thanks to the both of you!
43  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Screenshots/Snapshots not showing up? on: February 04, 2009, 12:25:27 am
You can try going to where your game is located (mine is in "My Documents") and you can click on EA Games, the Sims 2, and then click on the Neighborhoods file.

You'll see N001, N002, NOO3
and so on and so forth depending on how many neighborhoods you have.

Once in correct neighborhood folder, click on "Storytelling" and your pictures should be there.

If this is wrong, feel free to correct me!

Yeah, I saved because I had just moved a family in and built and furnished their home and I would HATE to have to do that over. But usually, I'm good about saving right after everything's all settled. Not this time, however.

And no, I didn't want to try to delete him at all for fear of him being deleted from the game completely.
If I can do so safely, I definitely will. The parents would be devastated if I deleted their baby  Cry

I've often times had to stop myself from verbally comparing something someone at work was telling me (like, about their kids grades or something totally not related to video games of any type) to what happened in my current favorite sim family (such as "hey (insert sim name here) got an A+ on their report card too!!"
