hi all

i was inspired by Tenshii Akari to start meshing with Blender. as soon as she started meshing, i was amazed. then, Tenshii mentioned that she uses blender. i've downloaded blender, but i don't know what else i need can anyone point me in the right direction? i've also got Photoshop and SimPE

ok, i've been creating custom clothing and whatnot for a while now. i haven't gotten a new computer or anything, but people who download my stuff say that they don't show up. its not just happening on this site, cuz on another site my stuff doesn't show up in other people's games. i always include the package files, but they still don't work. i've repackaged the files over and over again, but again, failure. i've gotten the Pets patch, but people who download my stuff and have Pets still don't see my creations in their games. i was going to try the tutorial that Beosboxboy wrote to fix Pets package files, but i don't think it will work. does anyone have any ideas?

ok, i have really good graphics, but every time i take an in-game pic it shows up blurry and wierd in photoshop or anything else i use to open it. can anybody come up with an answer to this problem? also, i installed freetime and about 3/4 of my sims 2 directory files are gone! they left collections and Logs, but everything else went POOF! i played the game, and it still works without the folders! how am i suppposed to get to my pics? i find this all very wierd and strange. i feel really bad that i didn't back-up my files :bawl:

EDIT: ok, now the missing folders have reappeared. i despise my laptop :wink: still having problems with blurry pics though

ok, ever since i got my new laptop, my graphics were REALLY bad! i couldn't see my bumpmap, hairstyles looked clumped, and my mirrors were just plain blue. i noticed a tutorial by Sims2Cri that fixed ALL of my problems!! it helps you get better graphics and enable bumpmap WITHOUT GETTING A NEW GRAPHICS CARD!! it's so awesome, and the instructions are easy to follow. i really recommend this to those with laptops. :wink:

the plantsim above came from a plantsim that used to be human with stefan's default realism skins. the plantsim grew into an adult and still has a human face. ?


i have no idea what happened to this one though. the mother was a regular plantsim who seemed pretty ordinary.:smt120

ok, my parents got me a new laptop for Christmas (WOOT!), and i really like it, especially for the fact that i don't have to kick my dad off his computer! the laptop i have is really fast, high-tech, and i think it can handle the Sims 2 and my ridiculously large files. i actually haven't gotten it yet, since it's coming in through mail. any tips on moving my game from on computer to another?

These are my objectives:

*install the sims 2 with expansion packs (duh! i think i already know how to do that!)

*burn my sims 2 downloads file to a disk and place on laptop (any tips on moving large files? apparently my downloads folder is 2.78 GB, and i have blank cd's that can hold 700 MB. help with tech math?)

*burn extra neighborhoods to a disk

*possibly move my projects folder to a blank disk and place on laptop? ( i really want to continue creating custom content, and is there any way i can move the projects folder to my laptop? u know, so when i open up bodyshop, they're already there)

*move Kere's Workout Video replacements onto a blank disc and place on laptop :rabbit:

*install Adobe Photoshop ( a MUST!)

*get new video card

any help at all will be appreciated!:worship:

i'm really confused. i downloaded sim PE to get Bella Goth back and delete her death token. how can i do this? is there another way to get her back?:sad4:

ok, ever since Squinge deleted his hacks [curse him!], the adoption hack that lets u choose the skin color, gender, and includes teen age group doesn't let me adopt kids anymore!:icon9: i'm trying to delete the file in my downloads folder, but i forgot the name of the file. does anyone know?
