Can you play Sims 2 (<- for clarity) without using cheats? This includes cheat objects, and all type-codes.
Id be the first to admit to "no"
I have a startup cheat file that enables testing cheats, and gives shorthand versions of "maxmotives", "motherlode", "move objects on" and "boolprop snapobjects to grid false/true"
so how about u?

Where's the fun in having them live long, boring 85 day lives?? I have legacy families, mom and dad are always taken care of, and the kids tend to have screwed up lives, and mostly they just die in the end...mostly by fire (if they insist on making lobster when they're not hungry i will kill them)
otherwise if they're ugly they die, if they're messy they die, if they annoy a favourite sim they die, if they do something silly they die and should they ever complain...they'll die
there's plenty more where they came from.

I got Sims 1 the first day it was available to buy in SA, i remember i was SOOOO excited, i read about it in a magazine, and i knew id love it, I was still a virgin at computer games then, so i bought it, my first game (and i still dont own any others outside the sims range)and i got all the eps too and liked all of them,
then sims 2 happened, and i forgot about 1...and then a few months ago i reinstalled them, and played for a day or 2, got bored and uninstalled it again.
then this past week a magazine i bought had this free copy of sims 1 with it, not the full game tho' (no sound, minimal furniture items, minimal skins)...and i installed it out of curiosity...and got all nostalgic and reinstalled sims 1 again....so im all excited about it again, im playing them both now, when im in the mood for a quick fix (hour or so) i play 1 and for longer periods (5 hrs or so on the weekend) i play 2

Lol! Imagine that...
however...that might not be a bad idea...a new npc with the sole purpose of killing servos! When your servo decides to make yet another desert, or outlived your famlily once again, phone the terminator and get rid of that piece of junk!

I get too annoyed to play with servo's. It seems they LOVE making desert all the time, its even (dare I say) MORE annoying than sims that make Lobster Thermador every 5 minutes, even when they're not hungry! Servos need to be more controllable in that regard, so that you can assign them chores to do, like have one that does the garden and outside, and one that looks after kids and makes a variety of meals for everyone - like a good appliance should! What's the general point of view of having servos out there? Anyone who agrees with me (maybe a mod-creator??  ) |
