16  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Do you like to ruin your sims lives? on: August 10, 2008, 07:37:46 am
I only like to torment and kill townies:angel:The rest of my Simmies are pretty well pampered(LOL)I especially hate the teen townies in my game,so I send them to college in groups, and kill them off in groups with the InSiminator,I only let the rare nice looking ones live, the ugly ones die:happy8:I even built a cemetary on the Sim State University campus, where I send the bodies.
17  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / BITCH STOLE MY MAC N CHEESE! on: July 17, 2008, 01:56:52 pm
I think this came along with Nightlife,I have had this happen looong before I installed Bon Voyage
18  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / The Sims 2 Store on: July 14, 2008, 10:06:10 pm
I downloaded both the store exclusive sets(deco and cubic)and I would have to say that they really aren't worth your money, the cubic set is OK,but Glamour Life came with better items. The deco set is just plain hideous and the size is off for a small house, the greyhound sculpture was lacking decent textures, what a rip off! I feel like Maxis has forgotton about the Sims 2 for the Sims 3:smt120
19  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Wicked Sims/Noukie Sims down? on: July 09, 2008, 08:44:20 am
I think Wicked Sims and the entire Wicked Nouk family of sites is down again guys:sad4:I have tried since yesterday to access both Sims Artist Union and Nouk, with no luck,I keep getting error messages,I just wanted to warn everyone
20  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / The Sims 2 Store on: July 04, 2008, 08:32:48 am
I really don't have a problem with Maxis selling their own content, after all, aren't stuff packs just the same thing? I guess that's just my opinion:angel:I use Maxis only items in my game, even though there are some wonderful and very talented CC creators out there, the main reason is that it seems like my game hates anything that is a new mesh;and I just want to play it,I don't care what is in my Simmie's houses.
21  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Pointy Ears? on: June 26, 2008, 09:03:56 pm
At the time,I had all sp's and EP's up to Pets,I sent the kids to Uni and unfortunately their elf ears went away:smt120I also thought it was cute, for some reason elf ears don't freak me out, maybe they will pass on the freaky genetics,I uninstalled my game before they could breed and find out
22  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Pointy Ears? on: June 26, 2008, 04:26:19 pm
I had this same thing happen to me when I first installed Pets, two CAS Sims of mine produced a set of twin boys with elf ears(neither Sim had the ears, plus I had no hacks or CC)I have never found an answer either
23  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / Male Pregnancy (MPreg) Photos! on: June 25, 2008, 03:59:46 pm
Gunther was pregnant by his wife,Cornelia(as a female I enjoy the irony of the women getting men pregnant):happy8:
24  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / WORST SIMS2 HOUSE on: June 20, 2008, 08:34:41 am
I would have to agree that the Monty family home is just a weird mess,it's all open, and it allows weather and strays in,it seems like Maxis wasn't thinking about their own EP's when they designed it,oh well.......:rabbit:But another house that deserves an honorable mention would have to be the Dreamer family home in Pleasantview, poor guy,not only is his wife dead but his house is extremly cluttered, was Maxis going for the depressed widower look for him, perhaps? I always clean his house up,because I feel sorry,oh yeah,I also agree that the Summerdream home is like a maze,I tried to redesign it once, but I didn't get too far
25  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Too many files? on: June 19, 2008, 03:32:57 pm
Well, that's hard to judge,my downloads folder had swollen to 6 gb at it's largest, and it took an hour to load my game,an additional 15 minutes to load each lot, plus I was having very slooooooow moving lots(many of the items were high in polys)in addition to constant crashing and/or freezing,I deleted the files and went back to just recolors and the occasional new mesh hair and clothes, and my game now takes 3 minutes to load(I have all EP's up to Bon Voyage)But hey,if you aren't having any problems, then just leave things the way they are(if it ain't broke, don't fix it)
26  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Sims 2 and Discrimination... these two don't mix. on: June 18, 2008, 06:25:05 pm
I think these people who are insulting others for playing the game LIKE REALITY are just disgusting, there are millions upon millions of wonderful, happy interracial couples and marriages out there(I am a product of one:happy8:)I agree with the sentiment that many of these people truly have nothing better to do,my Simmies' hood is a very diverse place, with every race and color of Sim imaginable, all married to one another,I have generation five children who represent the African,Mexican,Italian,German,English,Gypsy and Chinese cultures all in one package(their parents are all interracial)they are amongst my most unique and special Sims,my interracial couples are the most interesting, especially after a few generations, then you can begin to see all of the features blend into one,the world would be a very boring and uninteresting place if we were all restricted to marrying within our race, that's why my game is so diverse,I always thought playing a pc game was just supposed to be a hobby, not yet another soap box to promote your antiquated values,it seems like people are trying to inject hatred into the game, and I am sure the creators and developers never intended that:sad4:Another thing that disturbs me is how people are using the game as a venue of violence by killing Sims just to be funny, especially when people ask how to kill babies and toddlers
27  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What do you guys think of the 2 new EA , EP's? on: June 16, 2008, 07:21:29 am
I am also one of the few lucky people unaffected by Securom,so I am definately going to buy Apartment Life, the return of witches is what sold me,but I also like the idea of the playground equipment and new child and toddler interactions,my Sim kids are driving me nuts with constant cops and robbers(most of them spend their childhoods sitting in a corner, playing with toys, just to stop all the racket)I also like the idea of putting Sims in an apartment building, most of mine will live in an apartment or trailer park, just to save room in my 'hood:angel:
28  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Need to kill off a little Sim on: June 15, 2008, 08:32:35 am
Is this a clothing or body mesh that the Sim is missing? I am a little confused,if it's a clothing mesh just change his clothes, then if that doesn't work wait for the child's hunger and/or social motive to hit rock bottom, and then the social worker will just come and take the kid, problem solved
29  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Seasons agravation! on: June 02, 2008, 09:01:57 am
Are you using the new CEP? I believe your problems may be caused by that,I had the same thing happen in my game whenever I tried to access decorative/misc,I deleted the CEP extra files and everything has been okay,I hope this helps:happy8:
