How old is your computer's harddrive? I had this same thing happen to me a few months ago,it took about an hour to load the game,and another half hour to load each lot,I had Seasons so I also had constant crashing and BSOD(especially in my downtown area)I found out my problems were caused by a bad harddrive,it finally gave out in January,after I got my new one installed I reinstalled everything, I added Bon Voyage,and I have had no trouble at all,the BSOD went away,even when my downloads folder was up to 8 gigs,it still only took 15 minutes to load the game with the new one installed,however,I recently had to delete my downloads folder due to massive file corruption,and even with all EP's up to Bon Voyage my game now takes about 1 minute to load(I use only Maxis recolors now,and custom clothes and hair)I have a suspicion that your problems are caused by a bad harddrive,or too much CC

Yes,I have experienced this problem with many Sims2Pack items from the resource,I have downloaded many rooms of furniture and attempted to install them with that method,but when I load the game not a piece of it showed up:smt120There must be a problem with their files or something

I am also a disliker of townies(LOL,I know "disliker" is not a word,but hate is too strong for me)Many of them kick over my trash cans or pick fights with my Simmies,as a result I am slowly killing most of them by taking their days away with the InSiminator when they stroll by my lots,that'll teach them to kick a trashcan!:smt106 In previous games I have also taken delight in killing/and or torturing the evil cow mascot,because I have Seasons,I usually fence them in on my University lots,place a hot tub within the pen and when they crawl in during a thunderstorn lightning will usually strike them:happy8:I also built a greenhouse on one of my Simmie's lots,filled it  with birthday cakes,locked Toby Bruenig inside and waited for the flies to swarm,sadly that didn't work,I also drowned Kennedy Cox and Benjamin Long in a pool once,I wish I had pics to share.........

This happened to me several months ago,only the Sim that dissapeared was Mortimer Goth's younger brother,Edward,I went into his house,and he was gone,the only Sims left were his wife and child,and she was wanted to get married(they were family Sims)I checked even his parents memories,his picture was missing and everything pertaining to his were replaced with $$Subject($$Subject went to college,had $$Subject and so forth)I have never found an answer either,I used the InSiminator and everything,he was nowhere to be found,I eventually uninstalled,because my entire 'hood had corrupt memories and thought bubbles:sad4:

Yeah,it sounds like your Simmies are normal(LOL) Mine cluster around the bar and drink juice until they have drained their bladders,the wedding thing is also funny,I've had many Sims go home early because of a bad bladder:smile:

Hello,this morning I started having a strange problem in my game,all of my Sims houses with basements now have blue water filling just the basement area,I was able to enter the same lots yesterday and everything was normal,the water looks like the stuff that comes with water tool to build ponds,please help me,I didn't install any new hacks,I have all EP's up to Free Time,thanks

Hello,I have the Sims 2 and all EP's up tp Free Time(minus Bon Voyage)Anyway,recently I started experiencing random Direct X crashes in my game,even in build mode all of a sudden my game will lock up,and a box pops up saying "Direct X 3D returned an error,this application will now terminate":smt120I ran the Direct X diagnostic tool this morning,and everything passed,which frustrates me even more,my card is an Nvidia GEforce 7300 LE with 512 MB of ram,please help me,this problem is driving me crazy!

I used to get the BSOD CONSTANTLY when I had Seasons installed,and it drove me crazy,I could barely play the game,after I got my new harddrive I installed a driver update,and now I can finally play Seasons again with no problems:angel:Perhaps you need an update,it sure worked for me

On MTS2 there is an extracted tombstone of L+D(the only other way to get it is to type in boolProp testingcheatsenabled true and then spawn it from your Sim)there is an age baby option on it,I used it for a long time before I got InSim,I used to use the extracted one because it seems like whenever I turn on boolProp I keep getting errors,anyway,I hope this helps:angel:

I have everything straightened out now:angel:I tracked down the problem,it was the Atrius study from ATS,I removed that and everything is normal once more:happy8:I don't think it is compatible with Seasons
