I am so laughing. 1.4 Million copies sold. Sure.

I wonder how many of those have been returned with demanded refunds.

Heh, Sim torture can be an art form. Especially if you're deranged enough.

Off the top of my sleep deprived head..the Inteenminator for certain. But its compatibility is questionable at times. And is a "Use at your own risk" deal

I really cant think of any more at present. But this is definetly the site to be asking those queestions, cause someone will know.

Well, not to be a buzz kill. But you may have to get a mod like the Insim or something like it to deal with the problem. Anything that can terminate the pregnancy. Cause y'know. If its a bad skin tone, the instant the game tries to generate the baby. Its gonna crash.

There are other mods that do that then the Insim of course, its just the one I use.

Oh yes, when they are supposed to go do something important. But they feel its far more prudent to whine, complain, be attracted to, or any number of small things.

"It stinks in here, but I'm going to complain and ignore my command to clean it up"

I had one Sim yesterday who was going to do something important, I forget what, on the way to it, she HAD to stop for 2 attraction actions. One right after the other. It was annoying as all get out.

It also could be the bad birth bug, I experianced that with one sim a very very long time ago with the base game.

If you use the Insim or anything like it, you could simply terminate the pregnancy and try again. Thats what I did to get around that problem with the aformention Sim.

But, that was just my case. It might be a mod conflict too.

No problem, heh, as twisted as it sounds. I like to make torturing Sims a long, slow and artful process when they raise my ire.

They dont get to just DIE. They get to lose their minds and suffer every minute of every bit of their near immortal lives, wishing that I was as kind and giving to them..as well, all my other Sims whome have everything their hearts desire.
38  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: How to increase nightmares? on: June 09, 2009, 10:00:43 pm
I find that Sims that go to bed with near maximum negative mood and low comfort and social motives, if not nearly all motives tend to have alot of nightmares.

I had this one Sim I was personally torturing some time ago that way, cause, I was bored. And I noticed when he slept he would wake up quite a bit with nightmares.

So, hope that helps.

Oh, I think I just set some very evil experiments in motion. If I was any less of a mad scientist by nature with these game's, I would be ashamed of myself  Evil
40  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Playing as a ghost! on: June 08, 2009, 04:06:43 am
So people have even more reason to grind Sims up into powder in the Sims 3?  Grin

I wonder, what all more can you do to the Ghost Sim?. I mean, okay, yeah, you say you can send them back to the Netherworld. But is it possible to like starve them or any of that?.
41  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: Sim puts Octomom to shame! on: June 06, 2009, 12:26:10 am
Well, there goes the gene pool. There wouldnt be enough Sims to counter that many of the same family.

They would end up inbreeding in that neighborhood. And, oh dear..what if each of the females were like their mother?. Each one having hundreds of children.....they would spread like wild fire, and overtake every inch of everywhere.

Whoo boy, stop the world, I wanna get off this ride.
42  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Lets Play Nice About Sims 3 on: June 05, 2009, 10:26:43 pm
I thought that the store bought version DIDNT have Securom...oy vey..

See, this is why I have an ulcer over this.

I dont care that they want to try something new. New can be good. But stupid is NEVER good.

Okay, I've seen some of the Sims made, they dont look that bad to me. Yeah, you have fugly ones. But I take those ones and either turn them into slaves or grind them into powder.

Seemless interactive neighborhood?, great idea?..sounds like it. But from what I'm reading, with the inability to control whats going on in the neighborhood, and losing control of the family you play as if you switch. And then losing their awards or posessions whatever. Thats not such a hot idea.

That should be optional at the very least, that when you select a family you can change it so they can operate autonamously or not. Free will anyone?. And of course, when you shut that off, you freeze their needs and such.

Personally, I think going to visit other Sims houses would have been possible in the Sims 2.

And it would not have been any different from going to a public lot. You just needed a few extra movies and camera positions for it. So, y'know. You have your Sim call up a Sim and ask if they can come over, and ask if they can bring their families or friends in their group along. Just like in an outing for an activity. And the other Sim responds like it would for activities.

Said Sim then has the option to walk over, or drive, or since this should even be possible. Be picked up in a cab or car by their friends. Load screen occurs. And them bam, small cinematic of them arriving. Of them walking to and up to the house, ringing the door bell, being greeted and then, ta-dah, visiting time. Or getting out of the car and going up and blah blah blah. Simple right?. And all the camera would have to really do is be able to take into account the lot in question like it does when you move Sims in.

Man, even going for a walk around the neighborhood could be done that way I'm sure.

Bassicly, from what I am reading, alot of what the Sims 3 is boasting as being able to do. Seems very possible in the Sims 2. Without all the crap.

And back to Securom, safe?, uh..yeah...a Safe Securom is a Securom that isnt in your PC. Why they insist on using that hunk of garbage is beyond me when all it does is make things worse and not better.

Now, seeing what I have seen, Sims 3 is clearly moddable. Even if it will take time for other mods. What I'm wondering is, what could EA possibly do to a user caught with Mods?. Cause it seems they're trying to huff and puff, but cant blow this house down.

I'm really starting to hate EA. Like, more then before.

44  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Who's going to get the The Sims 3? on: May 29, 2009, 11:24:22 pm
Yeah, I've heard about TSR.

Its just, I dont get EA. Are they just stupid, or are they trying to kill their bussiness by destroying their customer base and franchises?
45  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Who's going to get the The Sims 3? on: May 29, 2009, 11:06:52 pm
Oh, heh, there are new threads?.   Embarrassed

I didnt know, I've kinda been very up in arms over this whole mess. Well, that and some other stuff. But this was like the nail in the coffin for me.
