31  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Affairs are revealed way too quickly on: December 24, 2008, 01:00:44 am
Haha, it was weird i remember they were upstair and i deleted the door so they wouldn't be discovered and then realised i was too late, the missus had been locked in the bathroom, with the couple smooching right next while she breaks down

EDIT: oh so dont Woohoo! *slaps forehead* duh
32  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Affairs are revealed way too quickly on: December 24, 2008, 12:35:58 am
when i played the sims 2 (notice the usage of the word played since my game won't actually installed) i noticed when ever my sims had affair if the wife/husband was on the lot they would be found out. they don't have to be in the same room it would be something really obscure like they were on the same storey or they were on the same community lot. but they were always hidden or in a different room and they would still be found out! do my sims have x-ray vision2 or is the problem deeper?

2. if they did have super vison that would be so cool!!!!

hey i can find that pioupiou patch you were talking about earlier on in the post. i tried reading the whole thread but i got to page three. Can anyone upload it here again? coz the link i found said something like HTTP 4400 URL not found. thats just a very hazy memory, im not sure thats exactly what it said. I posted on more awesome them you for help finding the fix but they were less than helpful (in fact they were stuck up sh*t heads if you ask me)

well honestly, i dnt really like FFR but ive been playing DDR on/off since about 3 (so for about 10 years) but Ive never been able to win any of the other modes besides single beginner. I love playying double light or standard.

StepMania 4.0 came out mid year and i have it though i must say, it isn't any different in appearance to SM 3.9

I LOVE NAOKI MAEDA-KUN! ALL HAIL NAOKI!!!!!! My favourite song is B4U and the B4U remix (whose name escapes me) ^_^

Okay, anyone who has been watching my posts (i doubt that will happen unless you count MidiMan from SM) I spend alot of time in the general Sims 2 Help thread.

Does anyone have a hack or way to get your new Sims from CAS to start out with more than $20,000? Because i always have to move them into a pissy empty lot, motherlode and then move them out! Really long process.

40  A Safe Haven / Teen Discussion / Anyone else play Dance Dance Revolution? on: December 21, 2008, 09:38:35 pm
When I'm not on The Sims 2, I play Dance Dance Revolution. I'm not really that good, it's an achievment to pass a song on Heavy Mode. I'm just curious if anyone at InSIM also play StepMania? It's like a DDR emulator for you computer. It's awesome. If you don't have it, get it they have a website and stuff and SMO (stepmania online) lets u verse ur friends. The latest version is a bit unstable but its way better than any of the older versions. PM me if ur interested

43  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / My game runs the way I think... slowly. on: February 02, 2008, 02:14:56 am
Ever since I've downloaded custom content I've had reason to believe that it's been making my game lag or take forever to load. The places it takes the longest to are:

THE loading screen before it asks you which neighborhood you want to play.

The other two are when I'm in CAS and I want to select eyes. it takes about 5 minutes to load the actual CAS and another 5 minutes to go back to the neighborhood screen and to the house.

From time to time it takes forever for it to do the simplest of tasks like walking or teleporting, becoming a plantsim, werewolf, dying:blob6:, coming back to life (lol)

Is there anyway at all of making my Sims 2 go faster without screwing around with the graphics? Whew, that sounds impossible.

45  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What would you do if you woke up inside The Sims 2?! on: January 21, 2008, 09:45:17 pm
well i would certainly no stand around my stove after it burst into flames waving my arms around and i'd have to agree with Shadeaustar, it does not take 30 minutes to pee and two second to get dressed. plus i should hope that the controller had decent computer because i hate when my computer lags and then all my sims do bay-watch runs Sad
