*dying of laughter* Oh. My. GOD. That was brilliant, hilarious, and wrong-on-so-many-levels all at the same time. I love it!!!

Oh my... excuse me for a moment while I go attempt to wipe away there tears without screwing up my makeup too badly (ah, the perils of viewing at work!). I am utterly in love with this series, and definitely looking forward to future chapters. I hope everything works out in the end, but considering there's already been death.... it's like that old saying, things always get worse before they can get better. I think we've yet to see the worse.

Please say there's more soon?
3  Simmers' Paradise / Tutorials / Tutorials for 'Dummies' Series: default eye replacements. on: March 13, 2008, 08:34:32 am
Thank you so much for this. I found the tutorial right after I installed FT, and had to wait for the SimPE update to try it out, but I managed to set new eyes for my vampire skins (I don't know, just have this thing about giving my vampires gold-coloured eyes). Again, thank you so much!

And in every incarnation, big macho Buzz Grunt keeps going and playing on the swing. Cheesy

I know, that always cracks me the hell up, especially with the gleeful noises sims make when playing on the swings. I mean, there's the big bad general playing like a ten year old while his teenage sons harass the living hell out of one another. Father of the Year!

Yep, that's who I thought Ripp had his eye on. And I'm gonna have to look into getting the visitor controller since the old biddy won't leave R&J alone when they hit the community lots.

I. Am seriously loving this story. Definitely going to keep checking back!

But seriously, is Ripp mooning over who I think he is? Because that started happening by accident in my game!

It keeps happening in my game, hahah! I finally caved and let them hook up, and dear god they're worse than any of my other couples for PDAs. I keep on constant Crumplebottom watch whenever they hit community lots because I just know she's going to catch them at it.

Okay, damn it, part three has me wanting to kill pixels. Grrrr.... *sits and waits for more soon*
8  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Why r Sims so stupid ? on: November 28, 2007, 09:32:02 am
Damn. Ah well, worth a shot anyway. Not like they need it though, because damn if Ripp doesn't schmooze with his professors so much that he can actually skip class (he's done it five times now) and STILL finish the term with a 4.0! And the funny thing is, I changed his aspiration to fortune so maybe he's paying them bribes or something. Tank, however, fails at interpersonal skills and still has to go to classes, haha!

Monica has a "Run to bus" hack that clears this problem, my wee ones scamper like mice on speed. Someone has a "Stop skilling and go to work/school" hack as well, I think it's twojeffs over at MATY, but my brain is un-caffeinated right now, so I am not certain. Tongue

Hacks fix most stupid! YAY!!!

I know that the Do Homework hack I picked up is a wonderful thing. Now instead of stopping my kids from bringing up their fun or whatnot after returning home from school, the hack commands them to stop whatever it is they're doing at 6 and do their homework autonomously. I just saw it in action for the first time last night with Alexander Goth; he stopped playing piano, sat down with his homework, finished that off then right back on the piano. It was wonderful.

...I wonder now if it works for university assignments as well. I'll have to test the theory with the elder Grunt boys and Johnny Smith tonight.

This is great so far. Hope to see more soon!

A lot of things that happen in my story are actually things my sims did or wanted to do autonomously. I'm having a lot of fun with my game! Thanks for all the nice comments and I hope you will enjoy my next chapters as well.

I love letting my sims choose for themselves, but I get some very weird combinations that way. Such as, I changed Johnny Smith's aspiration to fortune in SimPE (I'm... not fond of popularity, and it really was NOT working for him in my game) and knocked Nervous Subject to YA since I wanted to send him through university (...what? I love him, and after the loss of Venus when my neighbourhood corrupted I needed to give him more attention :sad3:)... and they hooked up. I swear, I go to get a drink of water and come back to find them autonomously making out in the dorm!

It's working, though. They just got married and have a baby on the way so... I'm really terrible with the pregnancy for all genders hack

Why, oh why can I never remember to update my photos?? This is hardly the best pic of my fave mum and daughter, but the more recent and slightly better pics are on my home computer (shh, I'm at work XD)

Venus Subject and daughter Athena.

(I swear, this girl has her parents wrapped around her finger; she probably got read to about 95684723 times during toddlerhood alone, and both parents literally dropped whatever they were doing in order to do so....)
13  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / Post your favorite sim couples on: September 11, 2007, 03:11:48 pm
I love all my couples, but there are two that are my absolute favourite.

...okay, three, but I haven't uploaded any pics of Donna and Rani as yet. But I'll post them eventually; they're probably my most romantic couple for a pair of mean-spirited and socially unconscious sim ladies!

As for my other two couples:

Light and Ryuuzaki (this is from university; they actually made it through there with strong relationship points and are happily married with four kids)

Nervous and Venus (y'all saw this one a mile away, didn't you?) Happily married even if he constantly cheats at chess and is a bit too rough playing Punch Me Punch You, one daughter and a baby on the way, and still all over one another every time I turn around. So sweet, these two <3

That is cute Kattan. I like the smart toddlers too.

She's very smart; I checked her stats last night after getting two "gained a point" notifications - Athena apparently decided to go practice piano at some point when I wasn't looking post-mechanical studying and managed to get herself up to 7 points of creativity. She'll max it soon, most likely.

Side note, I just downloaded the Stay-at-Home Parent career. I think that after Venus has the baby (the Subjects are apparently on a two-person mission to populate Strangetown with their offspring O.o) I may let Nervous quit his job like he's been rolling forever and get on that 'career' track instead. He'd probably be thrilled as anything for that.
15  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Pictures / For Father's Day - Daddy/Child Pic Thread on: September 10, 2007, 10:37:51 am
Meh, a bit late to join the thread, but I figured I'd share this one.

That's Nervous with his daughter Athena. She's since aged to child and I think she's still utterly adorable. She's also the most musically inclined sim I've ever had; she reached creativity level five in toddlerhood as well as 3 logic and 4 charisma, and she practically lives at the piano now.

...she's also a neatfreak. At her own birthday party she cleaned the dishes, the sink, the counters, the bathtub, AND the toilet. Oh Maxis <3
