When I try to load up the Sims 2, around the time is get's to "Stablizing Payloads" it crashes. I even tried uninstalling it and re-installing it. And before, when it was working yesturday, a red pentagon shape appeared behind my family's photo whenever it was shown. WTF?

When I put in Sims two Deluxe to install it on our new computer, nothing comes up. Our computer doesn't even reconize that it's in the drive! Has anyone else ever had this issue?

I'm used to using .PACKAGE files. But I have no clue how to use .RAR files. Do I use them the same way, by putting them in the downloads folder? Just want to be sure, so I don't screw up my game.
