The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Good news about the sims 3

After reading the whole thread I find it interesting that nobody mention anything about a censor blur. Will our adult sims look like barbies again? Can one have skinny sims and "hulky" ones? I also would like to know more about interaction with babies and toddlers. Can a mother/father sit down to bottle feed? Can I sit on a couch to read to my toddler? My fun in playing the Sims is the family life. I would habe to know a lot more before I would even consider buying the game. But thank you to everybody who so far has given us an insight to Soms 3.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / can't go "somewhere" with car
|

No it did not make a difference. When I take the car out of the garage and put it on the driveway I have a chance of them going "somewhere" if I asked them nicely about 2-3 time. So no more ideas? Anyone? I have run hack conflict and nothing.

No I don't have inteen. The overlapping driveway/extension could be an ideay. I often make them a bit longer to match the house. Will have to see into that. But then, on every lot? Now that I have the option of walking, that what I do now. Not in RL of course, lol. I would drive to the letterbox if it would be a bit further away!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / can't go "somewhere" with car

I tell sims to go somewhere with car. He comes, opens door, the car wiggles and then he is outside the car again. I try about 5 times and everytime he goes around the garage, enters it ...............If I am lucky he will go a 6th time. I tried it with a Maxis car with the same result. Any idea what causes this? Also when the message appears that soandso has to be at work in an hour there is no car showing in the queue. I have to do it manually and that works ok. I have lots of custom cars as they are much more sporty then Maxis. Please help me.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / repairing damaged lot
|
on: February 22, 2008, 08:38:06 pm

Hmm, I suppose I have not expressed myself clear enough. The lot has not crashed nor the n'hood. I only have decided to move the house to another position as it was too near the water and flooded the basement. That action was ok but it left that dip over the road which filled with water. Now there is a lake where the road used to be and that section is unusable. There is a repair kit to repair that damage but I can't find it anymore.

A long time ago I have read somewhere how to repair a damaged lot but I cannot find it anymore. I have put a dl house in a lot which left a huge water lake all the way over the road and after removing it, the water is still there and the spot is unusable. How can I repair that?

Not sure if I am too late to report and thank for the latest hack as the thread is getting old. I have just asked my finance to move in with her toddler, 1 adult wolf and 3 puppies. I already have a son, 2 adult wolves and 3 puppies. Yay, my house is full and all worked!! Thanks again Squinge (hugs)

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Blue Screen of Death - Help

Well, I'm still hoping it's a CC conflict... or something like that... at least it better be... I just spent all day deleting stuff using CI... looking at one dimensional pics (if they had pics at all) and trying to figure out if I used that item at all... over all, I deleted over 2500 things... and have just over 3000 left... so if anything, I'm hoping my game will be a little faster without all that stuff junking it up :lol You had 5500 of clothes?? Amazing. I only have 1500 files, 445 MB and that inludes skins and make-up too in saved sims folder. You have been busy!

I too am having the same probs. it is annoying and i don't play like i use to.But now that i see it's not only me and my comp.I am sure it is pets and i hope ea. comes up with a patch! My husband is experienced with computers and says we are updated on all drivers and more than enough memory and power supply,so it must be Pets. Again, have you down graded you drivers? It does seem a problem with many players that their drivers are too new and not compatable with EA at all.

Anyone know if you really need to go back as far as 71.89 ? ... Thanks to everyone for all their input so far, very helpful! Depending on which card version you are having, I also read that many were very succesful with 84.21. I have played for days now without any problems. I am still touching wood. I had not deleted anything either.
