Aw, thank you, hon. I confess to feeling bored with this. I haven't quit, and don't want to, but having a hard time dragging myself through it. I'll get there eventually. I know what you mean. I haven't touched my fishy legacy in ages - and I'm only on generation three! I will get to them again eventually, it just seems to have stagnated for now. Is that what you're having? In the meantime I've been well and truly pulled into this rainbow challenge - I'm besotted with that family, I swear <3 Again on generation three, who are now teens, but maybe it's the being allowed to use mods, but the characters are so much more interesting In fact they got the creative juices flowing again... urgh x_x

Hey folks; don't know how many of you are part of LiveJournal, but I've found a very useful community that's started up lately: http://community.livejournal.com/nanoeditors/It's called NaNoEditors, because apparently March is National Novel Editing Month. I saw it spotlighted on my home page, so I checked it out - and it's incredibly useful. There's links to check out, and you can ask advice on any part of the writing process - I've done that myself, and got some very helpful replies. Definitely worth checking out, even if you're not a member

I know exactly what you mean! I'm waaaay further on Xeno in MS Word than I am on here I've got another project on the go too, which I need to take pics for x_x It does get to me sometimes, but being single and childless has its merits I won't be so lucky once Uni starts again though. But yeah - you always tell me to embrace my creativity when it flows, right? Make the most of it

The rainbow legacy is great fun The best part about that comm is they're so laid back, and they don't care how you use the colours or the scale. I took their "rainbow" and reversed it, so I started with white, and am now on black... with lime being the next one. Ick.. I have been very good as a whole when playing - in the first one I never aged up the kids too early, and with this latest one I've been very patient, although I did cheat with the last of the black kids; there was such an age gap between her and her older brothers, and thanks to the CC I used, she'd already (nearly) maxed about five skills, so she grew to child a day early, and had barely any adolescence I'll try to be better with the lime kids, we'll see how it goes. Of course, things get much more interesting when ACR's added to the mix...

Well, I now have three legacies of some kind on the go x_x One proper one (Fish Out Of Water), where I'm finding the hardest part is indeed keeping the interest - although I'm on generation three now. The second is a legacy of sorts, but it doubles as a proper story and is exclusive to LJ for a few reasons. The big struggle there is stopping myself from playing when there's posing to set up, and the inspiration's gone for now. Then there's a completely different challenge that I've discovered recently. It's still a legacy challenge, but different variations have been popping up with different rules; this one is called the Rainbow Challenge and the only rules for this centre around the use of colour, and names pertaining to them. I've deliberately made this commentary style as it's a good break from storytelling, and I've found it to be very addictive. Because the colour scheme changes every generation, it gives you a reason to redecorate once in a while, and/or experiment with looks on sims that you wouldn't usually do. I never thought I'd be downloading neon hair, but I've been grabbing them by the bucketload lately I'm in love with the family, too

Heh, thanks guys Like I said, laugh all you like, but believe it or not it's important for later on - and I'm not talking about babies Yes, I have thought it through; they're "equal opportunity" for a reason - besides, I had to think of a reason they only pollinated the males @Zorom: Thanks - I know, nearly there now! Ugh, I know there are times I've felt like it, what with the burn-out. I'll get there eventually - still trying to figure out how to get a couple of shots for the next chapter, that's my big obstacle at the moment.

Okay, I'm slowly getting to my older projects - and I thought it about time I updated this one! Given that like Astral, I keep a copy on Blogger, I'm gonna start doing things a little differently from now on, because like her I just can't be bothered to go through the posting palava twice - it's bad enough on Blogger, and with my using a different image host (I'm fed up with PB, and decided to take advantage of all the yummy unlimited space I have on my own site), it's become more of a pain to post here too. So, like her, I'm gonna link to my Blogger account instead. Feel free to comment at either place if you so choose. Enjoy Fish Out Of Water - Chapter Twenty
