Ah, SimPE has now been updated, and one of the first things I did was replace that "Jimmy Durante wannabe" as Jenna put it for a better looking plantsim. This is indeed the guy who "fathers" the spawned plantsims, as I found out when testing my replacement - happily it works a treat, so I decided to share with the rest of you

I didn't do much if I'm honest, with face replacements installed I didn't need to. Just a change and tweaking of the nose and... well, that's it. I still used the elf face for the pointed ears though - I extracted the thumbnail so you can see what you're getting. Bear in mind though I use different skin replacements, but you get the idea

I don't know if this is Seasons specific so I've put it here, feel free to move it if it is. But anyway... in Neighbourhood view, whenever I try to select the bulldoze tool it won't work - it's not greyed out, but when I click on it nothing happens. The cursor doesn't change and I can't bulldoze any lots. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi guys

People have been asking for other replacement options for the PlantSim, and one or two (to my knowledge) have wanted them to be Louis/SimCribbling skins... including me, since I use them everywhere else. So I decided to have a go at recolouring them myself.

If you're expecting added planty textures like the Maxis skin or Enayla's work you'll be disappointed - I'm just not talented enough to pull it off (although I did try, didn't work out too well though). Feel free to add them yourselves if you want, but for now it's just a simple recolour of her yellow-green alien skin. Still it works, at least I think so

Special thanks go to PinStruck for the eyes (and advice on the colouring), IAmTheRad for the original replacement package and of course Louis herself for her great skins and generous recolouring policy

Only I decided to experiment with the format for this one; I'll let you have a read, you'll get the picture better. This is Chapter One, I'd like to know if it works for you, or should I find another way to tell it - in short, past tense or present tense?

Hello, it's me again. Apologies for my first attempt at posting this opening up a can of worms - all I'll say about that is, when you've dated a sixteen year old at twenty and a half, the line becomes a little blurred.

But anyway, after thinking of a way to get round the problem, I decided to make the adult a teen instead - in fact, even though I've had to re-write parts of it to accomodate, overall it makes for a better storyline During the editing process I got carried away and changed the first three chapters too, since I wasn't that happy with them in the end.

So with no further fuss, I present to you all an improved, less controversial Broken Dreams, now with more chapters and a bigger initial posting binge

Update: Who'd have thought just changing the skintone would be enough to make your sim more accurate? :roll: I also added some black nail paint since I've been wearing that a lot lately, and swapped the eyeshadow for eyeliner from the same artist, but everything else is the same
