I have a computer that appears to be dying.  The sims2 ran just fine last time I tried it. Bottom line I will be replacing my computer sometime in the future. I have a lot sim families I would rather not lose. Wondering if I after I have reinstalled the games on my new computer is possible to be able to save the old game and transfer it. I know I would have to use the downloads. If it is possible How would I go about saving the old game.Thanks very much everyone

OK I had to uninstall and reinstall my whole sims game. I have gone a while without playing my pets expansion. And I have open for business, nightlife, and freetime installed. I would now like to install my pets expansion. But not sure if it will overwrite my old towns and sims or if it will cause other problems. So if any one offer me answers that would be great.Thanks

No I deleted the custom content. And started over new. Actually I fiddled with in the in game setting and made it refresh at 60 same refresh rate as my computer and so now the sims works until I get a blue screen stop error from windows xp. So sim2 is now semi usable. Thanks for your imput Mrs. Doh happy halloween. Ps I love your avator.

The only hack /mod I have installed is the UV english insimenator download. After a total of about three reinstalls. OPen for business still freezes when a I try to bring pregnancy stage to give birth. I am 99.9 sure it is not the hack as it also did this when I used simslices happy lucky impregnation, 2 install uninstalls ago... ARGGGHH!!! So maybe some one here can help. I already have my screen resolution at 1024 and I have installed cep file and the open for b patch from the ea site. I can provide more info as needed.

Hello all. I have had the following problem for the last few days. My sims2 pets game ( sims2 and pets are what i have installed). The only neighborhood that shows up right now is pleasantview. The other one strangeview and veronaville and one me created neighborhood do not show up properly and they make the game crash when i try to run them. They have a funny grid on the picture of the neighborhood that you click on in the neighborhood selection screeen. They also say pets in the name of the neighborhood. The one neighborhood I have still works fine. I have custom content in my game and it all still works fine. I have some hacks from insimentator and simslice. I am wondering if I will need to reinstall. I am also probably going to purchase the sims2 seasons expansion I was wondering if I install that over this will it give me back my normal neighborhoods. very confused. anyway thanks everyone for the help.

reminds me of schipperke not sure how to spell that one but they are small medium sized real dog one of my veterinary teachers in college had one and it was a little black energetic fellow.

My kitty Goldie looked like that in real. We were pregnant at the same time but of course her bundles of joy were born long before my son.
