17  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Problem with default skins (bicolor Sims) on: November 21, 2008, 04:47:35 pm
Possibilty that you may have downloaded a sim wearing a default skin, i.e; extracted from game without the user paying attention. Could also be that they were made with pets bodyshop unpatched or any othese quite normal. You might want to throw those out and download a updated version or another set if you cannot find a solution.

If your Sim baby is starving and there's no food in the fridge (or they don't have a fridge), female Sims will autonomously breast feed their babies.

Are you sure because I was never aware of this. Did this happen to come with any EP in particular?
23  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / uploading issues :( on: November 16, 2008, 07:46:29 am
Your in the correct place. Somtimes, uploading a sim can be difficult. When the server has million people on at the same time, trying to do the exact thing, it will take awhile for attachments. I had the same problem. The best advice I can offer is try another time when you wouldnt normally come online. Maybe in the weeee hours?

If that doesnt work, what you can do is either pm a me or any other mod to attach it to your post for you. Wink

first enter the cheat: moveObjects on and then  boolProp snapObjectsToGrid false

this disables the grid and allows to place things freely. When your done and need things to be placed aligned again, just replace false with "true"
27  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / I could just cry... on: November 13, 2008, 12:46:46 pm
Difan, graphics card has nothing to do with the stated problem. Oties, you can use the insimenator to age any sim from toddler to elder and in reverse order.
28  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / patch issues on: November 13, 2008, 12:42:37 pm
Untill someone can come up with a solution to your problem, while in the mean time. You can use the search tool for related topics or just be Patient. You can also check out Posting Guidlines on what not to do on bumping your own thread.
29  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / 90 Degree Rotation Won't Work, What Am I Doing Wrong? on: November 12, 2008, 08:50:48 pm
If you have the "See Them" mod installed, you might want to check off the 45 degree option. Somtimes it interferes with placement of certain objects.
30  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / what are those packages that are just numbers and letters do i need them? on: November 12, 2008, 03:15:18 pm
Chances are you downloaded a sim that either is corrupted, contains a borked mesh or the sim was packaged with content from an expansion pack you may not have. The sims exchange for one, is not a good site I recommend downloading sims because of the unexperienced upload things without properly knowing what they are doing. If you want to remove any of the sims you imported, and you dont know who's the culprit, you will need to delete them from your Saved Sims folder. Located in "EA Games\The Sims2\Saved Sims"

Also, a common file from Bon Voyage can and often gets attached in sims and lots. It will look like a jumble of letter and numbers.
