I always had the 'selectable' option enabled with InSIMenator on my target sim menu. A couple days ago it wasn't showing up anymore. and I have no clue what it could be. I thought it could be some kind of conflict but I checked it with HCDU and there was no conflicts related to the InSIM, or anything else...

Take out inteen, I'm guessing that is the problem. Put it back in when the sim is in college. Yea.. But if it's inteen the problem will probably persist when I put it back. And I wanted to solve the problem.. not just get rid of it.. And I really don't want to get rid of inteen. EDIT:Oh yay I found out what was going on with sims not being able to go to college!  But the thing with the target sim menu and the 'selectable' option remains a mistery!  |

There's something wrong with my game and I can't figure out what. I've been getting a lot of crashes and trouble with bodyshop too often.
But the thing that's bothering me the most is that i can't send my sims to college. The option won't appear on the pie menu, and when I call a taxi in game it shows the window as if I was going to throw a party.
And the last issue I can't think of right now.. The user controller menu doesn't seem to be working right on insimenator.. I like the target sim pie menu to have the 'selectable' option, I added that with insim but it doesn't seem to be working, the 'selectable' option won't show on the menu.
I wonder if I have any hacks conflicting :sad5:
Help please!! :cry:

NO NO NO. its so simple to fix. LOL
I had this problem exept i had corrupted cc that would make my game crash so then it corrupted my game and i was sooo sad i thought i would never play my game again because it didn't load body shop or sims 2. this is what i did and now it has been loading fine.
in My Document/EA game/The Sims 2/
delete the cache file,Content registry, accessory and groups file. they are safe to delete and they regenerate when u load the game up. the game just needs to refresh itself cuz one of those files has been corrupted.
please tell me if this worked, i hope it did.

KathxD Yea, that's pretty much what the other girl told me to do! It worked indeed! I had done it before but to fix bodyshop.. I didn't know I sopposed to do the same to fix the game!  Thank you so much for the help guys!:worship: |

I used to do Janet in a Rocky Horror group (long ago, during my mis-spent youth :-) ), and I'm very happy to see some RHPS characters as sims. You've done a great job here, and I'm impressed that it's your first time doing a lot of this stuff!
One question, though -- the hair in the thumbnail is not the same as the hair in the bigger pictures. Where'd the hair in the thumbnail go? The hair in the thumbnail is from the picture I couldnt find a better one than the one that is included on the package :/ |

Ok. I'm about to cry . My game won't start!
Here's a little story:
I turned on the pc, and started my game, everything was working fine and it even took less time to open the game. I was building a house for my new family on my new neighborhood but I wanted to move the semi built house to another neighborhood so I packaged it into a file, exited the game and installed the lot into the teleport folder. When I tried to run the game again the start window with the 'play' button opened and I clicked it. Than the CD started spinning but the game wouldn't start. So I restarted the computer and tried again. Same thing, didn't work. I deleted the lot I installed from the downloads folder and tried again, no Sims 2 for me. And I really really hope someone can help me! :cry:
