re Beos - we all play sims for our own different reasons, however i think its fair to say the majority of people play sims because of the CC that is available. Hell i didnt play it for 2 years because the base game + xps for me just wasnt offering me enough scope for my own little world.

so if i have to pay EA to get the crappy custom content for my sims and to add insult to injury - not able to get it from anyone else- i wont be playing sims 3 ever..... unless EA hire a couple of modders from here....

reading Beos up there- i am one of very few people who have no CC meshes for different body shapes. However the fact that i am not given the option if i change my mind.. sucks.............

cause i was really hoping the sims 3 would finally be able to give me different body shapes without having to crucify myself to get each shape new clothes. However... it seems all i have is a "fat slider" - why couldnt they have done it for each body part? ( i hear there might be the possibility of spepearting legs from arms but thats about it- and when i see it i will believe it) its just absolute scandal that we cant have the full diversity of Beos. Marvine, Warlokk etc beutiful creations, we see these types whether on TV/ real life- but we are not allowed them for our own pixelated worlds??

urgh i feel like i am being nannied by the government- how dare they tell me what i will get offended by! - if you dont like it then dont get the mesh or whatever!

i also like beachvilla 6- that piant on the outside is wonderful- it really looks liek a faazzzy day dream of a romantic beach holiday.

your right- but i think the reason why people stopped was because no one gave them positive feedback.... im not saying its the right reason but one of them.

PegasusDiana- yeah maybe the townies and such will grow older etc but not our families...?

Isarah- yeah i know try and appease most people- but how is horrible clothing appeasing most people? i dont knwo of anyone whos like yeah i like the default clothing. if they are going to try and appease most people at least they could stick to jeans and jumpers and shirts- but whats with the plaid and the all in ones?? LOL! you know the best thing about custom hairs is that they are actually believeable- the maxis hair looks like its lego hair- you know one size fits all heads... and it just looks unrealistic.

there should be a movement of less stuff and better quality, stop with the weirdo pigstyle hair and start with a good bob, a shoulder length cut, curls, straight long hair (not one that looks like your a drowned rat) etc!

Okay enough of the ranting- i am going proabbly goign to get TS3 - jjust for novelty factor.... but then revert to TS2 when the bugs start appearing and i get bored of no hack no cc play...

i wouldnt mind those stages if the duration of the ages was realistic- i mean seriously baby 3 days toddler 4 and child 8?

but on the site it has my worst nightmare confirmed

they have forgotten that a lot of people play the sims because you can control every little thing they do- so if you lose that by playing one family over another......


i cant imagine what helll will brake loose in my families- espically if you have a romance sim and they get their own A.I .........

okay i know doubt aspirations- but defintly going to be lusty sims around...

Recently i tried to package a sim from Body Shop and the sim i exported wasnt showing up, so i exited and went to her unpackaged file- and it said the file was corrupt and it started saying that for every sim file i picked, so i uninstalled and installed Sims 2 clean pack installer again and now- the files are showing as just blank icons and the sim still isnt showing up in body shop.

help!

HAHHA_ take that freaking body shop! only took uninstalling and installing sims 2 installer 5 times and re booting my computer!

okay--- whilst i love the fact of seemless neghbourhoods.... i am slightly worried about if i play one family- then the whole neghbourhood seems to be growing with them- if you have 15 families lets say- and you like one a lot... then are the other families going to just age and die as you continue- lets say your legacy challenge?

maybe i have read it all wrong?

and i cant re itteratte how much I HATE THEIR SKIN/EYES/HAIR + CLOTHES DESIGNERS!- seriously the clothes are designed around the early 90s and are AWFUL! - seriously if you thought about wearing any of those items in real life. and dont get me started on the plastic hair and shiny shiny unrealistic skin!
