1  Simmers' Paradise / Contests & Challenges / Avatar Making on: June 14, 2008, 03:36:57 pm
<------ Played with it the other day, still trying to remember how to do some text effects but I'm sure it'll come back to me out of nowhere when I'm doing something completely unrelated hehe.
2  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Sim Families & Groups / From the Anita Blake Series...Edward and Nikolaos on: February 27, 2008, 05:08:40 pm
Creepy as bananas? yeah that works. But this whole thing of Edward turning into a loving (or as close as he can get to it) family man..... that just sends shivers down my spine. I guess Laurell finally thought up a way to top Nik in creepy factor.

Am I the only one who thinks Richard is the biggest &^$( in the AB universe?  LOL

Nope, you aren't alone. He starts out alright but there were a number of times I wanted to reach right into the story and throttle him for what he constantly puts Anita through.

Jean-claue, wow you did an awesome Job with him! But I seem to remember Anita saying something about how while his hair was soft, and beautiful, it was as wild as hers. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, you did an awesome job on the vamp! ANd Nathaniel too, though I seem to picture him opposite from what Anita discribes him. its probably just his submissive personality though! :-P

JC's hair changes on a fairly regular basis through the books. Long, short, straight, curly. The only thing that stays the same is the color. Nathaniel does end up figuring out that he has claws and actually uses them to everybody's surprise in the books.

Two down, now to get the rest. They're great, exactly like I pictured them. I'm waiting for Harlequin in paperback and I think Laurell's got the next book on the way.
5  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Belle's Dress as Outerwear for bhorn85 on: November 05, 2007, 11:23:03 pm
You're welcome. I just hope my next attempt with texturing will leave me a little less crosseyed than this one did. There's only soooo much pink I can take at one time LOL.
6  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Belle's Dress as Outerwear for bhorn85 on: November 02, 2007, 08:12:53 pm
Here is an outfit based on Belle's dress from Beauty and the Beast. It shows up in outerwear and everyday. Here is the pic I worked from.

And Here is my attempt to recreate it.

At least it didn't turn out as badly as I was afaid it might.

Edit: Added a matching hood for the outfit, sorry no pic of it my game is being a pain in the rear.

You need to get Tiggerypum's AF_Layered Medieval Mesh from here, it will be the DP-Women-Working.rar.
The mesh for the hood by Bipsoille can be found here.
7  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Women / Two Novelty Tees for the Athletic Girl on: November 02, 2007, 01:15:58 am
Well, thanks to Marvine's and Beos Box Boy's Athletic Girl meshes, I've finally gotten off my butt and actually made some clothes like I'd been meaning too since Sims 2 first came out. So much for procrastinating anymore, thanks guys Tongue.

So without further babbling, here is my first ever upload of anything anywhere... now what am I gonna be lazy about... sigh.
For those that can't read the writing on 001 it says, "Silence is golden, Ducttape is silver."

The numbers at the bottom right correspond to the .rar files that contain them.

The mesh for Marvine's shirt can be found here
The hair is by XM Sims and can be found here
The model is mine so neener neener you can't have her. LOL
