I love building houses...I think that is my favorite part.I try to match the sim to the house...Don Lothario has an ultra modern bachelor pad,the Pleasants have a brick colonial(for some reason I felt they weren't the modern house types),the Goths have a creepy brick house with an iron fence and so on.I usually create my own sims since I don't play the Maxis families much(except Strangetown,because I love General Buzz and the Curious boys).....I like to create 2 sims and move them into a house together and eventually marry them off.The goal is to eventually populate the neighborhood with all my own sims and just have a few Maxis made sims around so I can torture them
I loathe the baby and toddler stages so I use Insim to age them up immediately.Then I let them age naturally...I love the kid sims,they are adorable(funny,since I don't like "real" kids all that much...go figure)I use Insim to max out their skills since I can't stand it when they burn down the kitchen making lobster thermidor(what is it about that dish they love so much?)but I pretty much let them do their own thing from there on out.I don't send a lot of my teens to college because I find it boring to play the college towns,but I make exceptions if the teen really seems to want to go.I always try to satisfy the lifetime goal as soon as I can so they can get that lifetime platinum plum bob.
It really depends on what I am in the mood to do...I built my own neighborhood and did nothing but build my own community lots and another time I took one of my sims to most of the lots in the downtown because I hadn't seen them yet.Like I said,it all depends on what I feel like doing.

LOL Paden...I actually kind of like Don because he is so shameless about being such a manwhore.......he really likes being a toad!I took him out of his terrible Maxis house and built him an ultra modern bachelor pad...all chrome and black leather...it's the sort of place any woman in her right mind would run screaming from but they still flock to him like bees to honey.I played him for a few hours the other day and Cassandra Goth,both Caliente sisters and Brandi Broke came to visit him in the span of three days.They are hooked on the guy.......

Holy cow...my dl folder has 11 MB in it and I thought I had a lot of stuff!most of my stuff is small though,I like downloading the bathroom clutter and shelf clutter,so I have tons of that.
I am a huge Sims fantic....I don't think about it all the time but I do find myself thinking about it when I look at house magazines and books...I like to recreate a lot of what I see for my sims so I do think about it alot when I look at houses.I have 2 huge books of house plans my hubby got me...and he bought them for me so I could build better houses for my sims!yes,I think I am a fanatic.......

What wouldn't I do?hopefully I would be able to visit all my neighborhoods(and speak simlish)........I would go to Pleasantview first and prank Mortimer Goth until he cried,then I would force Dina Caliente to marry Goopy Gilscarbo(wait,I can do that now ).......then I would find Angela Pleasant and tell her to stand up for herself for goodness sakes,Lilith isn't all that terrifying...sheesh....in Strangetown I would steal General Buzz's newspaper,because he steals them from everyone in the neighborhood,but I would probably give it back because I adore Buzz:)...and Vidcund Curious would get  a water ballon to the face because he is such an unfriendly jerk.............I would then go home to my huge house in Holiday Lake(my own,custom neighborhood) and make crank calls to all my neighbors

I leave it on because some of the stuff they do is hilarious.My sims aren't very smart....so seeing one of them with all their needs in the red rush to play SSX3 is really funny.I do get annoyed with them constantly making lobster thermidor....do they have an aquarium somewhere with a constant supply of lobsters?and the plates of chopped up lobster that litter the kitchen because I forced them to do something else is kind of irritating,but it's funny at the same time.They really do the silliest,dumbest things...but that is part of what makes me love this game so much.

I have several favorites..............
Pleasantview.....the Pleasant family is always fun because all of them are so deeply unpleasant...particularly Daniel(why did they give on of my favorite names to such a loathsome turd?)he is a complete and utter lech and I don't know why his poor wife hasn't left his sorry butt.....but she isn't too bright,I have found........she will play SSX 3 when every need is in the red and pass out in her food.Angela is a whiny crybaby and I love to let Lilth torture her and make her cry..I know,I'm not very nice to them but I just can't stop myself........
Strangetown........I love the Curious boys,they are so funny and adorable,especially Pascal...he has a red hot crush on Miranda(a Sim I made) and she won't give him the time of day...poor Pascal......I need to make a Sim for him......I like the Beakers too just because I love to torture Loki...he is such a mean jerk.......he is pretty unhappy about finding Circe making out with Nervous Subject in the hot tub the other night
I love love love General Buzz...I took him out of his terrible Maxis house and built him a gorgeous modern house with an elevator and he is now married to Lola who adores him:)...and I sent his 2 oldest sons to college so he doesn't have to deal witht hem anymore:)

I wish I had taken a screen shot of the last sim conversation I witnessed......Ellen Frost and Phineas Furley graduated from Academie Le Tour and got married...Ellen is pregnant and expecting almost any day now....anyway,she was standing in the kitchen crying about her full bladder and the fact that she was starving...Phineas engaged her in a pillow fight.....
Ellen:OMG!I have to pee right now!
Phineas slugs her with a pillow
Ellen:Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!pillow fight!
unbelievable...the pillow fight escalated into the front yard(and who among us hasn't had a pillow fight...fully clothed...in their front yard?)smack smack witht he pillow...cry about needing to pee...smack smack...I am so hungry!and so it went until she passed out in the driveway..I was laughing so hard I just let her lie there...and the next morning Phineas went to work...and STEPPED over her on his way to his car!it was hilarious......

Besides the Sims 2,I also love The Movies,Zoo Tycoon 2,AOE III,Rise of Nations,Civilization IV,Empire Earth and any hidden object games like Ravenhearst...on the Wii I love Cooking Mama and too many sports games to list.....on the DS it's Fire Emblem:Shadow Dragon(but it is damn hard....shakes fist at Marth just because I can) and on the PSP I like Jeanne D'Arc,Valkyrie Profile and Sid Meier's Pirates:)

Don't feel bad about killing your sims sometimes they really,really deserve it.......listening,Angela and Lilth Pleasant?

I don't usually download a lot of hacks but the no baby harassment from MATY is a GREAT mod.Before I got it I was sooooooooooooooooo mad at my sims for not leaving the damn babies alone...the poor kid is trying to sleep for crying out loud,leave him alone!they would constantly go and take it out of the crib,then abandon it on the floor.The nannies drive me insane as well...they are useless....kids are crying and basically losing it so nanny decides it's time to go soak in the hot tub!
The other thing I hate is how whiny my sims are...I love them,but damn,they complain and cry over everything........

Thanks Raven.......BV doesn't really sound interesting anymore but Free Time does....but going without Insim is going to be really,really difficult!maybe I should just get KaB for now and wait until there is an InSim for Free Time.

I need some advice here and I hope someone can help me.Right now I have all the expansions up to Pets.It is running fine and I have no problems.The only CC I have is the Insiminator,the no baby harassment hack form MATY and a few things from Simslice.I had Seasons but got tired of my sims catching on fire so I uninstalled it.I honestly never liked the expansion anyway.My question is...would getting Bon Voyage and Free Time be a good idea or should I just leave well enough alone and enjoy what I have?I'd like to try them out.....the thing is,I don't want to bork up my game.Any thoughts?
I was also wondering if anyone has Kitchen and Bath Stuff..is it worth it?

I have the beer keg from Simslice and it does make for some very odd behavior......I have one sim who guzzles beer and then pukes and guzzles more,setting off the whole chain again.You would think he would learn...nope,it's  guzzle,puke and guzzle some more.I have another one who drinks beer and then goes and pees in the bushes(and he is maxed out on neat points)I love that beer keg:)
I don't know if this is surprising or not but some of my sims seem to be brain damaged(Iknow we all complain about the stupid things they do but some of this is just beyond stupid)One of my sims insists on sleeping in her son's bed.Never mind that she has a super deluxe double bed that is much more comfortable(plus her hottie husband sleeps in it)Nope,she comes home from work,takes a shower and crashes in the kid's space themed bed.I have to wake her up and send her to her own bed so  the poor kid can get some sleep.She also monopolizes the kid's computer,even though there are three others in the house.I think the kid secretly hates her(he spends more time with the dog and his dad...who doesn't seem to be as dim as his wife)

I've never been happy about the clothing....some of it is just FUGLY,and don't get me started on the hideous shoes that would only look good if the sims had hooves.Definately more clothing variety would be appreciated.You know,one thing they could do is get licensing to use NFL,NHL,MLB and NBA jerseys and fan gear in game.That would be cool.
I always thought there should be a way for the teen girls to have slumber parties,I loved slumber parties when I was a teenager.This would satisfy the having a party want and one parent would have to be home for it to occur.The parents would help serve food and maybe organize a game or two.When it gor too late,parents could scold the children for making too much noise.What would a slumber party be without boys trying to sneak in?Parents could try to prevent the boys from entering the house and if the boys succeeded,the girls would get a boost to their social scores.Just an idea.
No more of this autonomous entry by stray pets........I am sure there is a hack somewhere to fix this,but I always thought it was a bit odd that strays could walk into my sims' houses uninvited and start trouble.I have the no strays sign from Simslice but this shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.It doesn't occur in real life.
Better looking townies...the townies in TS1 were beyond ugly...and the ones in TS2 are not much better.....I like to create a single sim and marry them off to someone who isn't neccesarily a created sim but the townies are so goofy looking that I shudder to think what the children will look like.
Give me a precreated alien family!mom,dad and kids!there just aren't enough aliens in the game for me.
More food options...a few ideas I had were granola bars,oatmeal and bacon and eggs for breakfast,tacos, for lunch and steaks for dinner...I know you can download a lot of food but I would like to have it in game if possible.
Ownership of objects on multiple sim lots..if you have 2 sims that live together,each would have their own beds,computers and other things,and after a time they would only use their own stuff.The pets do it,why can't my sims?
Special objects for aliens only...like a special phone to use to call the mothership(in case they get homesick) they can go for a vist or they can leave the lot permanantly.Aliens would also have special interactions avaialble only to them(such as a special greeting,a special food,you get thei idea)
I am sure I will think of other things but this is what I have for now.
