No text message ever pops up, or an error message.

If its not in the info then im not sure what brand, I've moved the computer through several cases and the original case is gone.

I can never play the sims 2 for more than 10 minutes without it freezing.
When it freezes I get the problem that many others have gotten when I still hear music and can move the mouse but the rest of the game is frozen.
However after a few seconds my screen turns compleatly blue, and not the loading screen blue, a solid royal blue screen. If I press any button my computer will restart.
I only have one hack and I'v tried reinstalling the game without hacks or CC which makes me think that it may be my computer.

I have all eps and the stuff pacs I have are: GL, H+M, TSS

7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Error During Installation - Missing File on: March 15, 2008, 01:55:09 pm
I am currently trying to install the original sims 2 on my lap top. I am using the DVD version and my laptop does have a dvd drive. When I enter the disk into the drive I get an error message saying:

"Cannot find required DLL 'C:\DOCUME~1\my name\LOCALS~1\Temp\AutoRunGUI.Dll'"

What does this mean and can it be fixed?

Thanks
When I open up 'my computer' I can see the sims 2 icon in my disk drive. I can even open it to view all the contents. I just cant get the autorun or setup to get started. Any ideas?

note: I am using windows xp on an acer aspire 5100 with all the default specs. I am able to run other dvds and games on this laptop.

9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Custom Look Vampire D: on: December 11, 2007, 06:20:26 pm
sorry I worded my question wrong in my second post :S

I ment:
if I have sim A and sim B, I can choose to make sim A look normal (Like the download you showed me) But I can also choose to make sim B look like a vampire.

I sorry if I'm confusing

But thanks for the download. I'll just stick with that ^_^

Is there a hack like Monique's No Green Plantsim Potion but for vampires?
I want to make a vampire that doesn't change skins or eyes, but still has fangs and the same anti-sun affect of vamps. Any help is apreciated Smiley

Thanks :tongue8:

Im incrediblly sorry if this has been asked somewhere before but I searched and couldn't find any. (I may have just been using the wrong search words) And sorry for any spelling or gramatical mistakes.
