The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / The Sims 3 (In Comparison)

I for one reserved it, haha I love the sims1, sims2, simcity games and the only reason I will buy Sims3 is cause of the new open area of the neighborhood, but really, I do wish they would of made this an Update Pack, not an expansion Pack, what I was thinking if they made the sims3 an new game with an option as an update pack if you have sims2 installed, this way, with all the stuff packs and expansion packs thats in the game will still be available for the sims3, yes when updating it to the new neighborhood style of the sims3 it will reset your game to the beginning, all your sims you made will be in the sims bin, im sure if they did this it be an option to upgrade or single install, this way they can make new expansion packs and not repeat sims2 expansion packs, and this way we all can enjoy the game a bit better, I just hope they did this but they won't, still going to buy it not cause i have to, it cause I want to buy it.

You know...While I want to see SO much more done with this game, I'm not sure Sims 3 is going to be an improvement. Now, I won't know till I play it, of course, but I just know that what I'm reading doesn't sound much like the game I've grown to love. I mean...I would love to see more social interactions, yes. However, I want to keep what we have with The Sims 2 and branch out from there. I don't want it to change all-together. For example, I want parents to be able to hold their baby and rock them to sleep when they are fussy. It would be awesome to sing a little Lullaby or something, too! I know that EA could be A LOT more creative if they took the time. I realize what they are trying to do and that there are many that probably like their new ideas. However, there are many that like the game as it is and just want more options...Not a completely different game. I personally get tired of the balloon above their heads, too, but I don't exactly want it to go away. I mean, it's hard enough to figure out what the hell they are talking about!  Another concern of mine with Sims 3 is having to do with animals, weather, automobiles, and hobbies. These are things that I love, love, love about Sims 2. What if we don't have all that in Sims 3? What would be the point? EA said it themselves, Pets was the most profitable Expansion. I have yet to hear anything about pets in Sims 3. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't want to see it all go away just for a little more social interaction and whatever else they are promising us. Oh yeah...What's this I hear about another Expansion or Stuff having to do with Apartments?? I know it was supposed to come out this Fall...Is that not happening?  It possible that Apartments will be the last expansion pack and i'm sure there have another stuff pack coming out, remember expansion pack's comes out every 6 months and sims3 is due out in a year time so i wouldn't see why not there be another expansion pack. |

Ok comments welcome, but here is on thought on The Sims3, Wouldn't it be great that when they finished the product and ready to be release that they put this option in it.
*Check this Option to install Sims 3 if you don't have Sims2 install.
*Check this Option to install Sims 3 if you have Sims2 installed and will migrate your town and city to Sims3 Neighborhood, all your downloads will be there, you won't have to start out new, you can continue with your family that you was playing.
and of course there be some more notes like Please take out all hacks and the cep, we have included the cep for your custom content to show up in the game, the game will come with cars.
Wouldn't it be great if they have an option to migrate The sims2 into the sims3?
and all downloads works in sims3, of course the hacks will have to be removed till the community makes some hacks for the sims3, I really think they should make this option, cause I'll will buy it and install it and play it, and i'll probably unstalled the sims2 and play sims3, and the Sims2 game will goto my archive like the first sims game did, hadn't installed it or played it again, probably be the same thing for the sims 2. but maybe i'll keep it installed and if i'm in the mood to play the sims2 what they don't have in the sims3 yet ill go back there and play it, I just hope they add season to the sims3 orignal game not in an expansion pack.

Ok Guys and Gals, Here I built an Villa Estates, with 2 garage cars, It has 3 Bedrooms, you can make more bedrooms from other rooms, and it has 2 baths, a Kitchen, and a Swimming Pool, Other Rooms in the house you can make anything from, Livingroom, Dance Room, study room and the list goes on. This has all stuff from the Sims2 game and the vroom dinning chair from maxmoidmonkey here's the link to get it and click on exchanged, http://thesims2.ea.comI left it in the package cause its part of the Sims2 and Free, each bedrooms has a raised stage and the tall windows. |

I have all EPs too. It could be a hardware, it could be a software, it could be a hacks.
I never had a crashed in OFB before but after I installed PETs I have a random crash now. I'm playing a fresh neighborhood and with some hacks from others modders too.
My computer specs: P4 3.xx, 1 GIG memory, 256 Video card, a lot space in my harddisk (160 GB) too and still a random crashed?!? I think the random crash occures for two reason, as any video cards works to play the game, at times when your system is on a long time and your playing for a long time, it only takes 2 to 4 things happening at one point where the memory lose's some of the things the game is doing, so when at that point the game freeze's and crash cause that memory conflicted with another memory and went no where and ties up your machine as busy, other words it overloads itself, just like getting a headace, and as for me, I run a P4 2.4 gig, Ati x1600 512 mbs and a 1 gig memory. Try this before running your game, Reboot your comp to a Fresh Window's, turn off some of the things running in the back ground, that also ties up the comp with memory and always update your video driver's. |

I made a mansion like house I cleaned it out with sims2cleaner so if some items don't show up that means you don't have them and i'm sorry for that, and one item like the ladder and the diving boards are from my own recolors i done back from the original sims2 game, if you get the coke machine that comes from numereo and comp, if you get some glamours stuff and it don't show up cause you don't have the expansion installed, I did it this way cause maxis don't want us to share the stuff we get cause its there rules, if they do show up please do inform me, cause I reinstalled the clean file and everything showed up, of course they do cause I have it installed, so if they do I do appoligize for putting stuff on here, I did follow direction of cleaning the stuff out with sims2cleaner most of the stuff is from the expansion pack and the walls also, and floors, if you don't have the expansion packs you should get it to see the full items in the house.
Ok this house insist of a dance area within on the side of it is the kitchen, a small area enough to eat 8, and about 4 bars so you can sit and drink, a dj booth to dance, and a sphere in the middle of the dance floor. and it has a pool in the back with a bbq kitchen area in the middle of the pool, you have to swim to eat bbq. I put chairs and tables there, but if you remove them i'm sure they will either walk around dumb trying to get to a table to sit or just eat standing up, never tried that but probably fun to watch, and 4 bedrooms upstairs, and the 2 big one's has there own bathroom in them, and a Big Bathroom,

ty for this no fire, had 2 fires in one day, and for some reason the fire department never came in to put out the fire in a business, geez i wonder if there something conflicting it, with lock only household and employees oh well thanks for this makes it better.

funny thing, I uninstall the sims2 and reinstalled it from scratched did the patch for the first sims2 and when i installed nightlife it installed at the end faster then it did the first time, the reason i did this is cause i defraged my machine and it was starting up very slow, now it starts up pretty fast with most of all my clothing back and recolor's and a little bit of hacks that includes the insimenator uv dest version, and with the larger veiw my game runs smoothly.

I remodeled 190 main street to a new house, it has 2 bedrooms' a large bathroom and shower, a med to large kitchen and a nice size living room, it also has a garage, and has been updated with NightLife Garage, you can know use cars on this lot, for those that need the object download the link below for those that wants clean install download it the regular way.
