[/IMG] Saw it on a random sims video I was watching the other day on youtube, forgot who the creator of the videos was so can't PM them to ask.. Sorry about the pics being blurry (there was LOTS of movement/dancing in the video so hard to get a good quality picture).

For a while now I've been having this issues on some clothes I download for sims, but now some of my skintones (as well as clothes) are doing this... (I deleted all the clothes that was doing this so here's a skintone with the issue): Any ideas on how I can cure this issue? So far it's only on my sims clothes (Child, adults and elders) and on female skintones, I haven't had this issue with the male versions of the skintones.. I tried adding the shaders cheat to my user startup file (someone told me to try that) still doing this. I tried cleaning out my downloads folder (had over 18,000 files, now only 13,000 I figured maybe something in it was causing it). Not sure. EDIT : I've narrowed it down to having something to do with the clothes I have in my game (which makes no since to me), I removed all my downloads except my skintones and clothes and still have the issue, but when I remove the clothes my skintones are fine. Anyone know if there's a way to solve this issue?

Vamp Sims (the forum) is closing down, and changing to a site. That is once I find a free webhost that doesn't go mad with ads . If anyone knows a reliable place (that isn't loaded with annoying ads please let me know).

11/6 - Sorry I haven't added anything else on the forum (real life loves to rear it's ugly head and keep me from working on the forum). I have been working on another sim, he should be available for download tonight sometime as well as female sim and maybe a few pets. Here's a preview of the sim I'm currently working on. -- NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD -- And the female sim I'm considering sharing... -- NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD --

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Pets not aging...

Hm.. can't imagine what could be conflicting (I have no hacks or anything for aging -- well I do have InTeen) -- I tried using the HCDU, it found a few conflicts (all conflicting with InTeen in some way, but I'm sure InTeen couldn't be the reason, I've had this problem since I first put sims on my computer and I just recently installed InTeen. Guess I may try removing all my hacks (apart from InSim and InTeen and play the game a while). Guess it may have something to do with a hack I installed when I first put the game on this computer *shrugs*.
Thanks for the help rwills.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Pets not aging... - Solved! -
|

Posted this on another forum, but throught I'd post here (this has really got me stumpped)...
Finally got a new computer, but obviously that's not the problem , my problem is my pets don't age (my sims do, but pets do not).
Any idea what could be causing this?
I have no hacks that affect pets aging (or pets in anyway). Only thing I have is default replacements for cats and dogs eyes and cats noses, and the "bottomless food dish" - I think that's what it's called.
I don't have the puppy/kitten aging off (I don't even have any puppies or kittens in my game right now, just one adult dog).
I double checked to see if I had all the patches installed, I do but still have the problem.
^ pic of the pet and his age bar (note: the family all but one are elders now), they have had Bailey (the pet) since two of them were teens.. and notice Bailey's age bar has not moved.Problem solved, it was my individual aging hack (which I don't get since it does not affect Pets).

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: object error and game crashing...

Thanks, that helped (I had one more walkby hack, turns out that was the problem and apparently the source of the random crashing -- since I removed the file, no more error or crashing).
Also, thanks for the link to the hack conflict detection program, turns out I had a few conflicts too.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / object error and game crashing...
|

Hope this is the right place for this... Lately, my game keeps giving me an error (and also crashing for no reason). Here's the message I get (I've attached the .txt file it refers to) -- I tried looking at it myself, but I'm basically computer illiterate so I have no idea what I was looking at. Could whatever be causing that error be making my game crash? It crashes at random times. IE: last time it crashed 3 times (before I just gave up on it). --- First Time: my sim just had triplets, I was using a hack to change their the infants outfits (baby changer -- I believe I got it off here..). --- Second Time: after losing the triplets when it crashed the first time, my sim had twins... this time the hack worked it let me change the clothes.. but when another sim tried feeding the baby I got the crash error. --- Last time: My sims was watching tv -- well the adults were.. my game froze a second and got the "This application has crashed. It will be terminated" message (or something along those lines).
