A Safe Haven / Forum Games / Summarize a book in one sentence
|

Game's real simple: Pick ANY book, then summarize it in only one sentence.
I'll start. Catcher in the Rye in one sentence: An incompetent and somewhat arrogant young man gets kicked out of his prep school, wanders around New York City for several days, then runs off to the West Coast and pretends to be incapable of either speaking or hearing.

A Safe Haven / Forum Games / The Kanye West Interruption thread

So, if you're confused as to the rules of the game, it goes like this: Remember Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at this years MTV Music Awards? Well, take his interruption, and twist it around so that it's like Kanye West is interrupting the previous poster.
Um.... *Kanye West walks into the thread*
Yo boolprop, I'm real happy for you, and Im'ma let you finish, but God Mode is one of the best debug modes of all time...OF ALL TIME!

Simmers' Paradise / Anecdote Assistance / One of my newest story ideas

I've been fooling around with this idea for a few weeks or so, and I want your opinions on it. (I can't post it here until I get the Sims2 back, which should be sometime soon.)
Here's what I've got: Adrian Henson is a 14-year boy with a dream: to be in a somewhat sucessful rock band, live the rockstar life, you know, the dreams of many who pick up and learn the electric guitar. He already has one advantage: He's been described by some music critics as a possible 2nd coming of Jimi Hendrix. But, he has one obstacle that could make or break him: He has Asperger's Syndrome. This complicates a lot of things for him, making achieving his dream that much harder in a buisness that's already very difficult to achieve major sucess. Will he suceed beyond his wildest dreams...........or crash and burn in the process?
So, what do you think of this basic concept so far? Key word is BASIC. All I have so far is the basic plot and a working list of characters.
